I currently work full-time for the Detroit Red Wings. In season, I do not have as much flexibility to work from home, however, I typically do not work longer than 8-hour days or am able to plan around my longer days in advance. During the off-season, my schedule is much more fluid with work from home availability regularly, giving me more time and attention for your pets.

Pet safety and trust is of the utmost priority to me! I, personally, prefer to meet any pets ahead of time and thoroughly go over their regular schedule with their owner. My goal is always to limits pets schedule changes as I find too many schedule adjustments can lead to a decrease in other safety factors. While I do not mind a cuddle buddy on the couch or in bed, I will always respect the rules of the clients. Additionally, ensuring that the home is in the same state, or better, is always what I strive to do. After coming home from vacation, the last thing I would want to do is pick up someone else's mess in my own home, so I am always mindful of the spaces I am using and my cleanliness in them. Most importantly, I strive to communicate any issues early to address and problem solve as best as possible, while building trust with the clients.

I would love to know anything you think is important to share! As I stated before, if possible, I prefer to meet pets and owners prior to watching them to get good instructions and learn more about the pets routine with their families!
A typical day
As the weather warms up I love taking walks! Whether your pet does better on frequent short walks, or less frequent longer walks — I am happy to oblige! Play time usually leads to nap time, so I am always a happy participant to toss a ball or gently play tug of war, or with your pets favorite toy of choice.

Pet care experience
Growing up in a home without any pets, I jumped at any opportunity to visit friends who had dogs. As I got older and started babysitting, the opportunities to dog sit and house sit began to present themselves. I started to love my weeklong adventures of being a "pet owner" and found my love for dogs. Unfortunately, I am not in the right living situation for my own fur baby, hence my reason for not being able to board. But I would love to become your pet sitter, for one night, one weekend, or a week away! Work from home availability on ~most~ weekdays. *Note on photos - I don’t tend to take pictures with pets I watch, more of the pets to share with owners :)

Kylie is wonderful! She is very considerate, professional and caring. She took good care of our dog while we were out and left the house exactly as it was when we left. Will definitely call her again when we need a sitter for our dog.
Kylie was incredible. The care, attention to detail, communication and overall professionalism I experienced while she cared for my pets and my home was great. I will definitely be asking her to house and/or pet sit again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone who needs to be sure their furry family members are in the best care possible.
Kylie is a wonderful caregiver for pets! She was loving and attentive to our dog when we went on a family trip this summer. Kylie treated our dog just like family and made the time she had with Pepper fun. She is super helpful and communicative too!
