Pet care experience
Growing up, I always had a dog in the house, and have loved them since a very young age. Throughout my childhood, I learned the ins and outs of taking care of dogs. I love the emotional connection dogs are capable of having. I’ve had plenty of friends and family have me watch their dog for when they go out of town, and I truly get a lot of joy out of it. I don’t currently have a dog, mainly because I work a full-time hybrid schedule. I have to be in office 3 days a week (Tues-Thurs), and I live by myself, so to me it wouldn’t be fair to bring a young dog into that right now. But that does leave my weekends open! So here I am

I live in a very dog-friendly apartment community that recently opened up a dog park. Whenever I watch a family or friends dog, I love taking them on walks around the community and letting them explore. When other dogs are around, I keep a tight leash and cautious approach, but I do like to let them make friends if they want to.

Any special needs particular to your dog are good to know. I’d like to know how often you typically let them out each day, some of their favorite activities/games, and whatever commands they know.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on walks around my apartment community, as it is very dog friendly. Making sure dogs are able to exert a healthy amount of energy through walks/activities daily is important to me, as I know they don’t have exactly ample space to run around in my apartment. There are a couple dog parks by me, but I wouldn’t ever take your dog anywhere without asking you first.

Availability
I made sure to have my availability on the weekends (since I’m in office Tues-Thurs), so I’m able to dedicate ample time to taking care of your pet. Thursday night drop offs can be arranged if necessary.
