Safety, trust & environment

I love to keep your dogs on the same routine they’re used to with you, so I’ll make sure to check in with crating your pets, checking in on leashes/collars, and any other requirements to make sure your pet has the best time and give you peace of mind while you’re away. I understand for overnight dogsitting, trusting a sitter in your home is not just about the dog. I'm a very trustworthy person and my reviews back that up all the way. When you hire a dogsitter, you also hire someone for peace of mind that your home is secure and safe while you're gone as well.

Information Kyle P. would like to know about your pet

It’s always good for me to know about any medications, any particular routines or things to watch out for to take care of your pet well.

A typical day

I love taking dogs for walks and around the neighborhood. I love playing catch or frisbee, or just playing with whatever toys your dog loves! Chances are your dog loves pets and snuggles, so I'd be sure to leave plenty of time for that as well to make them feel loved and happy!

Trusted In-Home Pet Care

Pet care experience

When I’m house sitting, I’m not just stopping by to feed pets and lock doors. I’m helping keep your pets, home, and normal routine steady while you’re away, so you can actually enjoy your trip. I’m a creative professional here in Nashville with a hybrid event production job, which means I often have the flexibility to work from home and be present with pets during the day. My background in live events and production has made me calm under pressure, reliable, and used to keeping track of important details without making things complicated. I’m also a photographer and videographer, so sending good photo and video updates comes naturally. You’ll be able to see that your pets are safe, relaxed, and cared for without needing to check in constantly. I’ve been around animals my whole life, especially large dogs. My family had Great Danes, Bull Mastiffs, and Great Pyrenees, and when I first moved to Nashville I frequently helped care for my sister’s Redbone Coonhound puppy. I’m comfortable with big dogs, active dogs, slower senior pets, and pets who mostly just want a calm presence around the house. I work best with easygoing pet parents who want dependable in-home care, clear communication, and someone they can trust to use good judgment. If you travel often and want a go-to sitter who can learn your pets, your home, and your routine over time, that’s the kind of relationship I’m usually best suited for. A typical stay follows your pet’s normal rhythm as much as possible: meals, potty breaks, walks, medication if needed, playtime, rest, and a calm evening routine. I’m active and happy to get dogs outside for walks or exercise, but I’m also completely good with quiet, cozy days for pets who prefer a slower pace. Before booking, I like to know the basics: feeding schedule, potty and walk routine, medication needs, sleeping setup, how long your pet can comfortably be alone, any leash reactivity or anxiety, vet contact, home access, and any house rules I should know about. Standard house sitting includes overnight care, routine daytime presence, updates, walks or potty breaks, feeding, and normal time away for errands or work blocks. If your pet needs constant care, cannot be left alone, or has severe separation anxiety, I’m happy to discuss that ahead of time as a custom care rate. My goal is simple: your pets feel comfortable, your home is respected, and you come back to everything feeling handled.

Kyle took our request last minute while we were out of town due to another sitter having to change plans. He took great care of our animals.
