Highlights
Pet care experience
Raised by dogs. Caring for yours.
What sets me apart is deep, hands-on experience with trust-building and confidence work across all life stages. I’ve hand-raised a litter of seven newborn kittens, animals with disabilities, and been a dad to many rescues. Most recently, I was a dad to a rescue pitbull for over 12 years, a relationship that required patience, structure, and calm leadership. Together we learned how to overcome his history of abuse and worked to feel safe around people and in the world. Through that experience, I developed strong skills in reading body language, respecting boundaries, reinforcing positive behaviors, and creating predictable routines that help dogs feel secure. I do not use or condone aversive techniques; I rely exclusively on positive, reward-based handling, and if a dog arrives with aversive equipment, (such as a choke or prong collar), I will replace it with a safer alternative while they are in my care. I’m especially comfortable supporting anxious, sensitive, senior, and high-energy dogs, including strong or behaviorally reactive breeds, and I prioritize safety, trust, and emotional well-being.

Ratings and reviews
Kyle was an amazing dog sitter for us. He accepted our request on short notice after our regular sitter moved away. He communicated with us throughout the stay and spoiled our American Staffordshire Terrier. We will certainly use Kyle again. Five Stars. Highly recommended.

Kyle was absolutely WONDERFUL with my dog Axel. He was very attentive and loving, and his dog knowledge is extensive. I highly recommend Kyle for your next Boarding!! -Richard Schwartz

Schedule
Pet care has alway been part of my daily life. Meal times, walk times, nap times, play times… I’m familiar and flexible with meeting the routine needs of our fur babies.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Every animal is unique, so I rely heavily on responsible owners to communicate the type and level of care that suits their fur baby best. I live in an apartment, and I understand the space needs for larger animals. I accommodate this by being active outside. The apartment dog park, the local pond, and neighboring trails are my go-tos for regular leg-stretching.
A typical day
What I do with my visitors depends on what they like. Some love going for walks or in spaces where they can be free to get their zoomies out. Others would be happy to spend quality time napping or just hanging out together. I’m comfortable with all speeds and levels of engagement. As with other areas of care, I rely on the pet parent to inform me of anything their pet loves or hates and any physical or emotional limitations I should be aware of while they’re in my care.
