Pet care experience
34. Chill. Fluent in Dog. 🐕
I’ve always had a natural connection with dogs. Growing up with my chocolate lab, Buddy, taught me early on that patience, consistency, and kindness go a long way (and that tennis balls are basically currency). Dogs of all personalities tend to feel comfortable around me—including those who are shy, anxious, or a little skeptical at first (especially around men). I focus on creating a calm, low-pressure environment so they can relax, warm up, and be themselves at their own pace. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs for friends, coworkers, clients, and family, and I treat every home with respect—clean, organized, and dependable. I’m also comfortable handling more detailed care, including medications and insulin injections, always following your instructions closely (your routine = the law). I’m happy to set up a meet & greet or video call so you and your dog can get a feel for me beforehand. It usually takes about 30 seconds for the dog to decide if I pass the vibe check. What sets me apart is simple: I pay attention. I notice patterns, behavior, energy shifts—the little things that tell you how a dog is actually feeling. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy, a laid-back adult, or a senior dog who needs a slower pace, I adjust to them—not the other way around. My goal is simple: your dog feels safe, cared for, and completely at ease… and you don’t have to think twice while you’re away.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I have reliable transportation and a dog-friendly car, so getting to you—or taking your time with your dog on an adventure—is easy. In your home, I follow your dog’s routine—walks, meals, meds if needed, and plenty of attention. I keep things clean, organized, and low-stress. I pay attention to the small details that help your dog feel at home. I respect your space—no going through personal items, everything stays where it belongs. I do need basic access: a restroom, a place to rest, and outlets. I may use the TV for background noise. I run hot, so fans/AC help. I’ll talk to your dog, snack late, and come up with funny dog puns. I adjust to your dog’s energy and routine—whether that’s long walks or just keeping them company.
Ratings and reviews
Kyle was easy to work with and was great with the Curd Clan! He kept us updated about the crew and sent pictures throughout his visit. He was quick to respond to any questions we had and also was on time (that was very important to us). RockC, Saylor, and Breeze give him six paws up! He met all of our expectations, and we would use him again.

Kyle went above and beyond to care for our anxious rescue pup. He sent frequent updates (with hilarious photos), and was always responsive. Thank you!

Kyle stayed with our Frenchie pups for 3 nights and did an amazing job of keeping their bellies full and their tummies rubbed. He has a gentle demeanor that the dogs immediately were drawn to. He stayed in communication, followed instructions, and sent photos throughout his stay. The dogs seemed to enjoy their new friend and I would definitely book again!

Kyle was honestly so amazing. He sent a ton of pictures and kept the boys busy! He is super professional and communicates well when you are gone. I did not have to stress out one bit. Best rover ever!

I was so nervous about having someone board in my home but Kyle made the whole experience easy. He sent me pictures to update me on how my dog was doing and my dog looked so happy. He stuck to my dogs routine and handled his high energy great.

My girls had such a great time with Kyle!

Schedule
I’m no longer taking on new house-sitting clients for now! I recently started working full-time, but current/repeat clients and anyone I’m already in communication with for upcoming dates—I still have plenty of availability for you! Hopefully I’ll be able to open house sitting to new clients again soon. 🐾 Walks & drop-ins are still open and flexible! Want to chat for a minute? I’m in. In a rush? Hand me the leash—I’ll take off. Running late, heading out, or on a date and your dog needs a quick walk? I can go, go, go. Late-night walks and drop-ins are welcome! I usually respond within an hour, just not always first thing in the morning. I’m typically out with dogs early and catch up on messages during the hotter part of the day (1–4). I regularly cover Bixby, Broken Arrow, Midtown, Riverside, and surrounding Tulsa areas, so timing can vary slightly. Scheduled visits always come first—the dogs have a union—which means meet & greets are evenings only. Meet & greets are free within my usual range, and I’m happy to travel when it makes sense. You’ll get updates, ETAs, and photos through Rover, and after booking I’m happy to text if that’s easier. My calendar is updated every 3–5 days and is generally accurate, so booking ahead is the best way to secure your spot. I genuinely enjoy all of it—the walks, naps, snuggles, and treats (their idea). I adjust to your dog’s routine so they can feel safe, comfortable, and at home. And I do get excited about new dogs and new places, so give me a little time to respond before canceling a request—I hate missing a great opportunity, especially for the dogs. 🐾

- I do my best to capture updates throughout the day—meals, rest, walks, and overall behavior (yes, even the less glamorous moments when needed). That said, if I’m following your dog’s routine closely, I ask for a bit of trust that everything is being handled as scheduled. I really appreciate detailed schedules—printed, written, or in your notes app. I read them, follow them, and use them to keep everything consistent for your dog. The priority is always the same: consistent care, clear communication, and a happy, healthy dog.
