I love all pet babies!
I’ve loved animals from youth- I had multiple fish growing up, a hamster named Lisa (gotta love pets with “human” names), and a dog named Sasha Fierce. As an adult, I have my own two lovely cats, Calli and Gingi, and have been pet sitting both dogs and cats for my close friends and family for 5 years now. I love walking and playing with dogs, taking them on car rides and to the park (with permission, of course), and I even have experience with cats who like walking on the leash, as one of mine loves a little stroll around my apartment hallway. I am a roller skater, so if your dog loves to run on trails, I can keep up with them on my wheels! I also have experience with anxious pets and sick pets, as my own cat is a FIP survivor and required a lot of support throughout her recovery. All dogs and cats of all ages and personalities are loved here!

Safety, trust & environment
I’m very big on getting to know a pet, their temperament, and all their favorite spaces and hiding places to ensure they can receive the best, stress-free experience possible. If possible, I’d love to meet you and your pet together for extended visits. In a client’s home, I always locate the pet first to ensure they’re safe and sound, and like to note the level of their water and food bowls in case they’re not eating or drinking well and need medical attention. If they’re a dog that needs to go outside, I’ll leash them and take them on a walk around the neighborhood, varying in length depending on how active they are. I’ll take note of and communicate any irregular bathroom or other behaviors. After a walk, I’ll refill water and food bowls if necessary and will sit and play for some additional time before locking up. In the case of a cat, I will check food and water and replenish if need be, and also scoop the litterbox to ensure there are no accidents and to check for irregularities. If a playful cat, I’ll play for a while before locking up, but if not playful, I can just sit and give a sense of company for a little bit.

Schedule
I work a very flexible work-from-home job currently, so I’m openly available and currently spend most of my free time playing or cuddling with my own cats. I take walks or trail skate regularly, so a companion on these excursions would make them even better!
