Hi there! My name is Kyla and I am a Registered Veterinary Technician. I attended Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops and graduated with a diploma in Animal Health Technology. I have experienced a lot working in an animal hospital such as first-aid, CPR, animal behaviour, bandaging, oral medication administration, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections, blood collection, anesthesia, dental cleanings, nail trimming, anal gland expression, and x-ray aquisition to name a few. I have worked with dogs, cats and large animals professionally for 10 years, and have had dogs since I was a child - my first word was even our dog's name! I have a 9 year old loving and friendly Australian shepherd/ poodle mix named George, who would love to play if your pet is friendly and playful as well. If you are considering dog walking, check-ins or boarding, I am well-qualified and would love to work with your pet.

I assess your pet on their comfort level and take it slow and at their pace to keep them comfortable safe and happy. Sometimes this looks like a walk and fetch, sometimes it means sitting quietly in the same room while they adjust.

Kyla did a great job making sure my dog was comfortable and kept me updated with pictures and messages. I would definitely book with Kyla again and highly recommend her!
Kyla was fabulous. She last minute took in our furbaby when we were out of the country and our initial sitter didn’t work out. She sent daily updates and photos. Our pup loved having another furry friend to play with. He seemed like he had a wonderful time. It was reassuring knowing he was taken care of so well. We would definitely recommend Kyla to anyone!

Our dogs took to Kyla right away. She was relaxed, professional, had great credentials, was punctual and even sent pictures of them getting some swim time! Definitely will have her take care of the critters again...?
