Pet care experience
I like big mutts and I cannot lie..
I’ve had pets my entire life ( dogs and cats ) and for the past three years, I’ve started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs ( senior pets with specific medication schedules etc. ) and of all different sizes and breeds. All of my experience is boarding at the customers house for the pets ultimate comfort. I want to create the best routines for your pets whether its walks, runs, baths, park visits you name it!

growing up in Chico, I value the community, Housesitting/ boarding at the clients house, operates on trust and boundaries. Parting from your loved pets for a vacation can be a tricky, as finding the comfortable, trusting fit for a pet sitter might seem precarious, but my goal is to make it as simple and as comfortable as possible. I really want my love for animals to shine through and am super interested in providing any precautionary measures that are needed : obviously a sit down interview - with a résumé and my background in pet care, multiple references, practice, run-throughs of the pets, thorough schedules or needs ( in person or whatever works best ), even walking the pet (with or without owner in advance ) to gain trust of the pet :) etc etc. I am new to Rover and am so excited to expand my knowledge on animal care !!

Kyla did an amazing job housesitting our two young Australian shepherds and cats. Kyla sent us pics of our pets almost daily. The few tiny things that went askew she immediately let us know. We felt so well taken care of that we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation. And the house was neat and tidy when we got home. I would highly recommend Kyla for taking care of your home and fur babies.
Kyla is the absolute best! My boy instantly adored her, she was attentive to his needs, and spent lots of time with us prior to my trip so she fully understood how to watch him and my home. I would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone. She is caring, sweet and easy going.
Kyla is fabulous! This was her second stay with our dog; she is communicative, friendly, and goes above and beyond cleaning up after the doggo while she is here. We really appreciate her!
kyla did a fantastic job taking care of my nervous dog while i was away. she went above and beyond making sure my trip was worry free. will definitely work with kyla again if needed!
Kyla was so wonderful with my fluffy dude! She was professional and communicative, and her love for animals was apparent from the start. She looked after my home and cat with great care. We’d love to have her back any time!

Schedule
I currently work part time, but have full availability through the week for caring and watching your pets! ( the only accommodation to my schedule is when I'm at work - longest I would be away from the pet would be 5 hours, as a full work shift.)

- While I have experience with the older animals, I always love to really elaborate on their specific schedule -> and what key factors are crucial for their comfort !!
