I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for pets has always been something I genuinely enjoy, whether it's going for long walks, playing, or simply giving them the attention and affection they deserve. Family and friends have trusted me to care for their dogs and cats while they're away because they know I'm dependable, responsible, and compassionate. I'm currently studying Zoology, where I'm learning about a wide variety of animals and their behaviour, health, and welfare. My passion for animals is what inspired me to pursue this field, and I can't wait to spend my career caring for them. I understand that every pet has their own unique personality and routine, and I always strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I treat every pet as if they were my own and take pride in providing reliable, attentive care that gives both pets and their owners peace of mind.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are safety, trust, and creating a calm, comfortable environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely to help them feel secure and reduce stress while their owner is away. I make sure they are always supervised, properly fed, and have fresh water, clean spaces, and plenty of attention and enrichment. I also take care to respect the client’s home, keeping everything tidy and following any specific instructions carefully. My goal is to build trust with both pets and owners by providing reliable, responsible, and compassionate care that feels as familiar and safe as possible for the pet.

Kyla has grown up around pets her whole life and has a natural, genuine love for them. That love shows up in practical ways too — when our cat recently developed a concerning wobble, Kyla had the presence of mind to take a video before rushing to the vet. That footage turned out to be invaluable to the veterinarian in diagnosing the problem. That kind of calm, thoughtful instinct in a stressful moment speaks volumes about how seriously she takes the animals in her care. She is responsible, attentive, and treats every pet as if it were her own. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who will truly look after your pet, not just check in on them.
Kyla has looked after both our dogs and our cats and I can’t recommend her enough. She took amazing care of our pets, keeping us updated the entire time we were away. Reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely kind—our pets absolutely adore her. Knowing our animals were in the best possible care allowed us to enjoy our time away without the added worry of wondering how they were doing. 10/10 for sure!

Harmonogram
My schedule is extremely open and flexible this summer. I’m currently a dancer teacher and in the summer will only be unavailable a few days each month. I’m also captain of my dance team which also only takes up approximately 4 days each month. Therefore i have love of time available to care for your pets :)
