At-Home TLC & Zoomie Ready Yard!
We absolutely love hosting dogs! Because we both work from home, your pup will get constant companionship, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of daily walks. We have a spacious, fully fenced yard, perfect for burning off energy and getting the zoomies out! Plus, if your pup ever feels a bit nervous in a new environment, we like to make them feel right at home with a soothing treat like fresh scrambled eggs. Safety & Family Dynamics: We have a gentle 3 year old daughter who adores dogs. We actively teach her how to respect a dog's space, read their body language, pet gently, and stop immediately if a dog moves away. Either my husband or I is always within arm's reach whenever dogs are around, ensuring a safe, calm, and happy environment for everyone. Experience & Activities: We’re comfortable with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities! Our experience ranges from hosting shy, play-motivated pups (like Border Collies) to raising our own German Shepherd/Lab/Rottweiler mix. When we don’t have a Rover guest, we foster dogs through a local organization. Whether your dog loves neighborhood walks, backyard adventures, or just lounging by our desks while we work, they’ll be treated like family here.

Kyla & Nicholas are amazing! They took wonderful care of my pup Nala and sent me lots of pictures and updates over the weekend she stayed at their house . They took her on walks , played with her and gave her lots of snuggles . My dog didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. Would definitely recommend!
Kyla and Nick were great! They were able to take care of our dog Thorin on short notice and were happy to do so. (The short notice was due to my mistake of not knowing what day it was. I was a week off. Embarrassing.) They were awesome at communicating and were understanding of our pups' weird habit of constantly licking his legs, when happy, sad, bored or entertained (vet doesn't even know why).
Kyla and Nicholas were great hosts for my Golden Retriever, Kelly! They kept her hydrated and safe during the recent heat wave, walked and played with her and make her feel right at home. I'll definitely use them again when I'm in the area! Thank you!
Kyla and Nicholas were wonderful with Hubble for the full three weeks we were away. They went above and beyond — picking up toys and treats for him and sending us lovely photo updates the whole time. It was so reassuring to see him settle in so quickly, curled up watching movies with them. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, attentive sitters!
Kyla and Nick took such great care of Lowkey! This was our first time using Rover and we felt so lucky to find the right fit. Communication was great from initial contact to the last day of Lowkey's stay, we received pictures and check ins which was so reassuring. We also appreciated their thoughtful questions to understand our routines, our big guys likes and dislikes, and how he likes to play and interact. We would definitely recommend Kyla and Nick, and I would like to think Lowkey would too!

Schedule
We both work from home so are home most of the day. We love walks around our neighborhood and have a large yard to get energy out. We have pick-up/drop-off listed as well for an additional charge.

Safety, trust & environment
Lots of snuggles, walks and treats! Please feel free to bring their bed, stuffed animal, and favorite toys to make them comfortable. We will try to walk them (1.5-2mi/day) unless otherwise requested.
A typical day
Walks, snuggles, and of course, lots of scratches and treats! Please let us know if there’s anything your dog particularly loves and we’ll be sure to include that.

- Please let us know if there is anything about your oil that would be helpful to know. Do they like food at certain times, are they super excited on walks, do they bark if they hear other dogs bark, crate-trained (if staying over night), how do they sleep at night (on the bed, on their bed, etc). We’ll try to accommodate their usual routine as much as possible!
