Pet care experience
Available to watch your fur babies!
I have had dogs my entire life and I can't imagine life without them. I currently have my own baby named Tebow, a 15-year-old 20 lb dog who does well with other dogs, but usually just keeps to himself and sleeps all day. I love being able to take care of animals who we truly don't deserve. They are so pure and loving. I have been feeding, walking, bathing, and all of the above for all of the pets I have had. I also have experience as a PAWS volunteer working with dogs in need. I have experience giving dogs oral and topical medication, too, as my dog Tebow requires pills and eye drops/ointment. I do not handle injections. My parents who both care for our Rover guests also have tons of experience working and caring for dogs.

Ratings and reviews
Kyla took great care of Winston while we were on vacation for an extended period of time. This is the second time she has assisted while we were overseas. She has a proven record of taking care of our 17 month old, high energy Schnauzer and providing frequent updates. We will continue to ask for her assistance in the future.

Our boy with separation anxiety came back from Kayla’s in much better shape than when he is boarded(not that they do anything wrong). Kayla responds quickly to any questions we have, and always keeps us updated with pictures! We would definitely be happy to send our guy to Kayla again.

Great sitter! Basil seemed happy and content during her stay and enjoyed spending time with Tebow. Would book again!

Kyla was awesome with Momo, responsible and very responsive with updates

Kyla and Tebow always take great care of Kirby when he stays with them.

Lola Chanel, again came home so happy. I’m so glad we found Kyla and her family. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
Someone is usually always home to hang out with and care for our Rover guests! Please note that my parents Barbara and Allen are now the primary Rover sitters as I am no longer living here full time, but I am still around. We try to keep our Rover guests minimal so there aren't too many dogs over at any given time, but we try to always accommodate our regulars and can keep pets separated with the gates in our house whenever needed. Dogs will always eat and sleep separately unless from the same household, and they always get introduced leashed and supervised. We do not crate pets unless a pet parent requests it.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced yard with trees and lots of grass for them to explore. We have a doggy gate at the top and bottom of the stairs in my home to ensure dogs who are unable to walk on the stairs alone are not able to do so without my help. We also have a gate blocking our front door as well as separating our dining room and living room so dogs can all have separate but open feeding and sleeping times. Pets
A typical day
A typical day will include morning snuggles, followed by breakfast and playing in the yard. Then we’ll hang out and go on walks throughout the day and play either in the house or in the yard depending on the weather. We will end the night with bedtime snuggles and a good sitcom.
