Up until March of 2023, I was working full-time at a boarding kennel called Family Animal Care. I absolutely adored every dog that boarded with us difficult or not. My goal was to always treat them as if they were my own pet. Unfortunately things happened and the kennel had to be closed down. My heart misses caring for all sorts of pets and would like to fill that void. Currently, I work as a Dental Assistant.This was a big change but something I was interested in. Generally speaking, I am very flexible with the exception I can no longer do lunch let outs as I only have 30min lunchs. But my schedule seems ever changing so please message me if you have dates you are wondering about! I do know how to administer medications including insulin! I understand that sometimes pets have specific diets so I can't always go crazy with treats. I have no issue going over to your house 4-5 times, whatever makes you comfortable!

I unfortunately can not house dogs at my house because of two grumpy old ladies. I am also not willing to do overnights at other people's houses. I just like sleeping in the comfort of my home. I am more than happy to come let out your dogs, love on them, and other necessities. I love good communication and things written in detail for instructions. It makes me feel like I know your pets better and that I'm doing my job to your expectations.

I need to know anything that could trigger a bad response. For me the more detail I know about your pet the better I can care for them. If your dog really loves something that another dog may not like belly scratches or playing ball. Allergies! If your dog needs a little space to warm up to someone new.
A typical day
I enjoy hanging out on the couch or playing with your dog for a little bit. Giving treats is my favorite. I also love playing a foraging game for dogs who are heavily food motivated. I try to match your dogs personality with the activities that suit them.

Pet care experience
I have always had a passion for animals! Whether it was a hurt bird in my neighborhood or pilling walnuts at the base of a tree for a squirrel family. I originally wanted to be a veterinarian, then a veterinary technician, but I found my true calling when I managed our boarding kennel for the last 8 years. It made me realize how much I enjoyed caring for and loving other pets as if they were my own. After all, there is a limit to the amount of animals I can house, so why not give love to others? I make your animals feel loved when you need to be away! Quality patient care and bribing with treats is what I live by. I want your pets to feel confident and happy while you are away. I am available during the week BUT it tends to be limited. I am unable to let pets out over my lunch break. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I work from 8:30a- 8p which is a long stretch. I welcome any questions about my services!

This was the third time I have had Kuta watch my kitties while I was out of town. At this point, I’m willing to schedule my vacations around her schedule, she’s been that amazing! I have two cats who are anxious and anti-social with new people and several cats with kind of complicated dietary issues. She is very thorough and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is well taken care of, to the point that she has earned the trust of one of my anxious cats (the other is getting there). She also helped bring in a delivery of flowers and plants that had been delayed and took care of them without question. Her communication is great and I feel at ease leaving town knowing she is checking in on things. She also takes a vested interest in each cat and has learned a lot of their different personality quirks. Hands down the best pet sitter I have ever had!
