I’ve cared for dogs and cats for over 6 years. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and give plenty of playtime and love to their pets. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, and pets that need extra patience and gentle handling. I understand that every animal has a unique personality and routine, and I always make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away.

Loved letting Plumeria stay with Kushram! Went out of town for 4 days, and they took great care of her. They sent photos every few days for updates on care, and were very kind and reassuring. Will definitely be going back.
Lovely people took care of our dog even after a last minute and urgent request. I was nervous and was immediately put at ease. They are a super nice family with enough space and outdoor access for our 20lb dog. I would leave our dog with them again.
Kushram and his family took such loving care of Yoshe. She was happy and healthy when I picked her up. She had a lot of outdoor space to discover and explore. Yoshe even got to sleep with her hosts- whip I know made her very happy!

Kushram and Family are a wonderful find for dog sitting or doggy day care. Give the initial booking request a bit of lead time, as the confirmation that the day/time works may take up to a day to come through. This time I put in a request 9:30pm on a Saturday, and got confirmation Sunday evening. (I suspect requests are processed daily). The initial booking request was the largest gap we experienced in communication, scheduling the meet and greet by messages was easy - they were very responsive and want to ensure you and your pup will be comfortable with their set up and go over any special needs of the dog. Our elder pup Rick was drawn to Kushram and the whole family even on the meet and greet (I think just his wife and adult nephew), as well the drop off day of, and they were able to make him comfortable enough to eat even on a short visit. Given our short booking (only about 3 hrs) we can't really comment on long term pictures/communication during the visit, but I can say I feel pretty happy that I found some place local where I feel comfortable leaving my dog when I need to go somewhere. They also have some experience with some dog special needs, but can help best when they know about it ahead of time. They were not concerned or put off in the slightest by our pups needs (mostly that he's pretty clingy, can get cold easily, and only has 3 teeth and will only eat small pieces of food, and doesn't love hanging out with other dogs), and described other dogs they had watched with similar or more challenging needs such as dog-sitting a blind dog in a new space. Thank you for taking good care of our pup!

Schedule
I am a retired senior with plenty of time at home daily to care for our furry friends needs and I usually take a walk by the trail 5 min away near the water.

When pets stay in my home, I make sure they feel comfortable and safe right away. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space for play and relaxation. I follow their regular schedule for meals, walks, potty breaks, and bedtime so they feel at home. I provide lots of attention, belly rubs, and playtime. Safety is my top priority, I keep doors and gates secure, supervise outdoor time, and ensure they are never left alone for long periods. My goal is to give every pet the same love and care I’d give my own.
