I work full time as a professional dog trainer at my home. My life is centered around caring for and teaching dogs and the humans that love and teach them.

I have a six foot fence with in a larger 6 ft perimeter fence. We have double gates at every entrance. Dogs can free roam. Dogs eat in crates and get rest periods in crates if need be. Dogs need to be able to handle being in a crate for certain periods. Especially if they don't settle down at night and are destructive. But otherwise they are free range.

Please tell me about your dog and its social skills and crate acclimation. Let's schedule a free meet and greet behavior consultation up at my home in Ojai ahead of time. Don't wait until last min. I need to know about reactivity, aggression, resource guarding, or separation anxiety. Tell me what your dog loves ! What your dog may not like so much. All the info is appreciated. BUT we just meet ahead of time. My priority is to keep all the dogs safe. IG @canineconservatory
A typical day
Dogs are let out at 7:30 am into fenced yard for playtime and relaxation. I can take individual dogs for walks to the nature preserve, or beach excursion for extra fee with myself or an assistant.

Dog training is included. Kurt B. (CPDT-KSA, APDT) is a certified professional dog trainer, who takes videos of the training he does while your dog is in his care. He follows a forcefree teaching method to teach new behaviors. Step-by-step. Errorless. We are not equipped for non social or dog reactive dogs. Please contact ahead of time to schedule free meet and greet and behavior consultation.

Kurt is fantastic! We brought our extremely restless bulldog Ozzie to Kurt for daycare - Kurt spent far more time 1:1 training with Ozzie than any other "daycare" we've ever been to, and even in a short amount of time, we've seen vast improvements in his behavior and demeanor. Definitely plan on returning frequently.
