Since moving to my property in 2000 I have cared for a cat, two dogs, a horse and a donkey. A former high school teacher who now teaches college classes I love to give TLC to “fur babies.” Experienced training horses and dogs. When I traveled more, I needed to find reliable pet sitters for my managerie, so I know what you will want from me. Your pet can have access to the garage and fenced back yard and a 1 acre fenced play area. Taking care of my own animals (18 year old cat and two dogs over 15 years old) has given me experience with young as well as older pets and the typical ailments they may have. The more time I have with animals, the more joy I have in my life!

I have a fenced yard and one friendly 8 year old dog. I also have a horse and donkey on the property. The yard has access to our basement garage that is always a comfortable temperature.

Kurstin is the best! She knows what she’s doing for sure. Your dog and/or cat will love her. I will continue to use Kurstin in the future if needed. She also stays in contact with quick responses. Attentive and specific with each visit as well. Even though my cat was being a turd, Kurstin did not give up on trying to bond with her. Both thumbs up from me.

Kurstin takes such good care of my dogs, I don’t have any worries when she is caring for them. She has always been flexible with dates and times, had to change drop off time with the last booking and it was no problem with Kurstin. I am happy to find a trusted dog sitter!!
Lacey is an elderly dog who needed specialized attention. She got that with Kurstin, who understood her needs. It was great that Lacey had a one-on-one environment between just her and the sitter's own dog, instead of being in a kennel all day long. Kurstin sent us daily status reports with photos.

Schedule
I drive to campus two days a week but have a fairly flexible schedule. I mainly work from home since the pandemic so I can provide attention to my animals during most days.
