Growing up in China, I had a sweet Bichon Frise, and that’s where my love for animals began. After moving to Canada, I became a cat parent and have now been caring for cats for over eight years. I currently have two cats of my own, both with very different personalities—one is outgoing, affectionate and curious, while the other is more sensitive and needs a little extra time to feel comfortable. Living with them has taught me that every pet has their own personality and way of communicating. Some cats want to be your best friend right away, while others prefer you to sit quietly nearby and let them make the first move. I’m happy to do both! I’m patient, attentive and respectful of each pet’s boundaries, and I’ll never rush them before they feel safe. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone new. I’ll carefully follow their usual routine, keep their food, water and litter area clean, spend time playing or cuddling with them, and send you photos and updates. I also have experience giving oral medication when needed and can follow instructions carefully. I speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and I’m happy to communicate in whichever language feels most comfortable for you.
