I always start by asking owners what their pets enjoy and what activities they typically do together—every pet is different, and I want to make sure I’m keeping them happy and engaged in ways they’re used to. If I’m given the freedom to choose, I tailor the fun to the pet’s personality—whether it’s long walks, fetch in the yard, puzzle toys, tug-of-war, or just plenty of belly rubs and snuggle time. I pay close attention to what each pet seems to enjoy most and make that the focus of our time together.
