With over 10 years of experience as a dedicated pet sitter, four years as an animal care professional in a busy animal shelter, and a lifetime of caring for farm animals on my family’s farm, I bring a unique blend of knowledge, compassion, and enthusiasm to every pet I care for! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s quirks, preferences, and personality. From bottle-feeding newborn kittens to supporting senior dogs with mobility issues and medication routines, I’ve done it all—and I do it with a big heart and a bright smile. I’m also comfortable with handling non potty trained animals, behavioral quirks, and making even the shyest pets feel at ease. My experience helps me connect quickly with animals (and their humans!), and I always aim to make your pet’s time with me feel like a mini vacation. Krysytna was so great with our dogs and very helpful while we were traveling.
Overall, she did an OK job watching our dogs, in that their basic needs were mostly taken care of. However, there were some explicit instructions we gave verbally and in writing that weren't followed which lead to minor amounts of upholstery damage. We were also reassured that our higher-energy dogs would have ample interaction time, which proved to be less than we anticipated. We weren't expecting constant interaction, but more than what was provided would have been nice. We also asked that she continue even small amounts of the training we've been paying someone to help us with, and there was no follow-through on this. We also don't necessarily expect the house to be deep cleaned while we're gone, but we do generally expect that the messes made by the sitter are cleaned up, which they were not in this instance. Finally, upon returning home, we noticed that our dogs water bowls hadn't been filled. We are unsure how long they had been empty, but it's clear they weren't filled before she left, which is disconcerting.

Schedule
I am working part-time and attending school online so that I can offer flexibility with my schedule. I would not need to leave a pet unattended for more than 6 hours at a time.
