Having owned dogs my whole life, my parents have instilled the values of responsibility and diligent care as a pet owner. I am familiar with interacting with dogs as tiny as my hand to dogs the same size as me! It is important to treat dogs with kindness and I truly do believe they will reciprocate that behavior. I enjoy staying in shape and being outdoors... such as as hiking and running... and it's even more fun to have a furry companion while doing so! I have a soft spot in my heart for dogs, as with all animals, and will treat all dogs with the same respect and love that I gave to my family dogs growing up, Russell (Jack Russell Terrier) and Joey (Chihuahua), as well as to my new dog that I have recently adopted from the animal shelter, Jackson!

Krystley took great care of Cody! Her dog Jackson was fast friends with Cody, and we could see they had a lot of fun together in the photos she sent! We really appreciated Krystley stepping up on short notice and being so kind with Cody.

Schedule
I am currently working part-time and close to home, so I will have plenty of time to care for your dog! Please feel free to reach out so we can schedule a meet & greet and drop-off/pick up time!

Safety, trust & environment
I pride myself on being timely, communicative, reliable, & responsible. I live in an apartment complex that has a spacious, fenced dog park nearby, ideal for walking, playing, and socializing. My dog Jackson is friendly and playful towards other dogs and people. He is good at gauging if another dog wants to interact, or would rather be left alone. I will only take a client's dog out to play and socialize with others only if given permission prior. I will always remain careful and vigilant when walking your dog on the leash and be attentive when walking past other dogs and people. Dogs are allowed on furniture in my apartment. There is also ample room to crate your dog if requested.

A typical day
I will take your dog on several walks throughout the day. I am open to taking the dog for nice long walks (weather, dog, and owner permitting) and/or taking your dog to an enclosed, safe, dog park where we can play a nice game of tug-of-war or fetch! I also have plenty of dog toys that your dog will be able to play with during their stay!
