I’m often told I love animals more than humans and honestly, that’s pretty accurate. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I started as a dog walker and pet sitter at just 12 years old, and over time, that passion has grown into years of hands-on experience with pets of all kinds. I currently have a very loved cat of my own and spend my free time volunteering with the Lawrence Humane Society, fostering neonatal kittens, and the Kansas City Pig Rescue Network, which has given me experience with a wide range of animals, personalities, and care needs. I’m comfortable caring for everything from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra patience and attention. Whether your pet needs playtime, structure, or just someone calm and caring to be there, I tailor my care to what makes them feel safest and happiest. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and secure while you’re away, and that you feel completely confident they’re in good hands.

Krystina is a wonderful caregiver for our cat! We cannot say enough good things about how she took care of our Ollie. She was so faithful, caring, and steadfast which incuded coming twice each day to feed and water him and to check on him. She is quite competent, loving, and sweet. Ollie took to her so well! We very much look forward to have her come again and again when she is available, and we need her for Ollie. Krystina was absolutely amazing with Guava! We were away for several days, and she gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dog was being well taken care of. She was reliable, caring, attentive, and kept us updated throughout the entire trip. What impressed me the most was how closely she paid attention to Guava. When she noticed that Guava was having some stomach issues, she immediately contacted us, sent detailed pictures, explained what she was seeing, and continued monitoring her. That meant so much to us, especially being so far away. She even went above and beyond what we hired her for she took our garbage cans out for collection and brought them back in without us even asking. That was incredibly thoughtful. We came home feeling extremely grateful for everything she did. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she looks after and takes her job seriously. I would absolutely trust Krystina with Guava again and recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet sitter. Thank you so much, Krystina! ❤️🐶

Krystina took amazing care of our two dogs, Valentine and Albus, and I genuinely never had to worry about them once while we were away. She was incredibly communicative, kept us updated, and made us feel completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Having someone we could trust with our pups was an absolute relief, and we came home to two very happy and well-cared-for dogs. We will 100% be booking with her again and couldn’t recommend her enough!

Schedule
I work in healthcare with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time and attention to your pet. On my days off, I’m fully available for visits, drop-ins, and extended care. I’m also available before or after shifts depending on the day. I’m very intentional with my bookings and will only accept requests that I’m confident align with my schedule, so your pet always receives reliable, consistent care. I’m communicative and will keep you updated with photos and check-ins.

I also have hands-on experience working with dogs and cats at the Lawrence Humane Society, where I’ve cared for animals who are often timid, neglected, or previously abused. This has strengthened my patience and ability to read animal behavior, allowing me to create a calm, safe, and trusting environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so they feel comfortable and secure. I’m experienced with pets of all ages, including those who need extra patience or a slower approach. In your home, I respect your space and follow all instructions closely. I provide attentive, compassionate care and always keep you updated so you feel confident while you’re away.

I love to ensure your pet has all needs met including play, companionship, food, water, and toileting. I absolutely love playing with animals and seeing their personalities shine! I enjoy hands on play with both cats and dogs, ensuring we tune into their natural hunting instincts.
