I’m a registered nurse who recently relocated back to New York, so I currently have a very flexible schedule while I look for my next position. This allows me to dedicate consistent, focused time to pet care throughout the week. I’m available for weekday check-ins and walks, including evenings, and I’m also open on weekends for more hands-on or extended care. Because of my nursing background, I’m attentive, responsible, and comfortable handling routines, medications, and special instructions if needed. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life right now, and I would really enjoy the opportunity to spend that time caring for animals.

A typical day
I like to match each pet’s energy and personality. For dogs, that might mean walks, fetch, playtime, or just getting their zoomies out. For cats, I love interactive toys, enrichment play, and of course cuddle time if they’re into it. Whether they’re high-energy or more laid-back, I make sure they feel engaged, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away.

Animals have always felt like family to me. I rescued a kitten at just three weeks old and fostered her for six months, caring for her through bottle feeding, late nights, and all the little milestones that come with raising such a tiny baby. It was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. I now have two kittens of my own who are very loved, playful, and well cared for. I’ve always been the go-to friend and neighbor for pet sitting, dog walks, and check-ins. I’ve lived with several dogs through different roommates and naturally treated them like my own, whether that meant long walks, playtime, or just giving them extra love and attention. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I’m attentive, communicative, and truly enjoy spending time with animals. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind!

Krystil took care of my two mini schnauzers, and I felt so safe and lucky to leave them with her. She is so sweet and paid very close attention to my very detailed instructions. She's also a nurse, and that automatically makes me feel better leaving my babies with her! Highly, highly recommend!
Krystil is an excellent sitter! She is kind, detail oriented, friendly and cares so much for the animals in her care! My dog Birdie absolutely loves her and was so well taken care of. Her tail gets wagging extra hard any time Krystil comes to watch her. She is on time and is totally willing to give updates as requested. I highly recommend!
I've known Krystil for years, and I can honestly say there’s no one I’d trust more with my pet. She is truly one of the most caring, responsible, and attentive people. She’s helped take care of my dog numerous times while I’ve been away and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing he was in her care.
