I work from home and have time to take the dogs on walks throughout the day, and give them lots of affection and play. If I go out I will always take the dogs with me, I very rarely leave them on their own. If I do have to go somewhere that isn't dog friendly, I make sure the dogs are thoroughly exercised and fed, and put on classical music, which I find is really great for settling dogs.

If a dog is determined enough, they could get out onto the road through the hedgerow. The front of the house is not fully secured. Because of this, I prefer to look after dogs who don't run away and who have good recall.

Any specific dietary requirements or does the dog take any medication? Has your dog got any behavioural issues I should be aware of? Best to know this upfront so we can avoid any issues with my dog. Is the dog fully house trained? Where does the dog like to sleep? How much exercise a day are they used to? Are the neutered? Male or female? Any other information that the owner considers important, I appreciated as much info as possible so your dog can have a relaxing stay here and feel comfortable.
A typical day
I take the dogs for walks and often play fetch in the rugby field which is only a minute walk from the property. If it's a very hot day I take the dogs down to the river, which runs very shallow in the summer, so they can cool off. There are lots of lovely walks through the local orchids, only 10 minute walk from the property. Some days I will take a short drive to Clee Hill Common for a lovely walk with views, or Ludlow's Mortimer Forest is a good spot for dog walks tool. I also give them lots of fuss and cuddles when at home, and I send owners lots of photo / video updates during the dog's stay.I will always message at least once a day to give owners an update.

I've been dog sitting for 6 years, looking after lots of different breeds for both short and long-term stays. I absolutely love dogs and I have a Cocker Spaniel cross King Charles of my own, Leila. There is lots of space at the property and locally for the dogs to get the exercise they need during their stay. There is a 4 acre paddock the dogs can run around and play in. Behind the land there is a rugby field which is another great spot for them to have a morning run. I generally work from home so I will be on hand to give your dog all the attention they need while they're in my care. If I go anywhere, visiting friends/family, etc I will always take the dogs with me. Please note, I do have two farm cats, they live outside. They are used to being around dogs. Please also note, the outside areas of the property are not entirely secure, so if your dog wanders or if their recall isn't great with other people, then this will probably not be the best fit. I love the outdoors, nature, and giving our dogs lots of pats and love, I've grown up with dogs and since dog sitting I feel my training and control of different breeds has improved greatly. I have a King Charles Cavalier cross Cocker Spaniel, Leila; who is 7 years old, female. There is private gated access to the River Teme, which flows shallow during the summer and is the perfect spot for the dogs to cool off on hot days. I enjoy taking the dogs the many different countryside walks in the surrounding areas. The house is a modern house with open plan kitchen / dining space with ample living space. Dogs are welcome to make themselves at home during their stay and happy for them to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable and settled. A meet and greet is essential before committing to first-time booking with any dog, I like to arrange this as soon as possible, this means if for whatever reason it is not a good fit, you are able to make other plans for your dog sooner.

Our dogs Reggie and Ruby were very well looked after for a couple of days by Krystena. Excellent contact both before and during the visit, including regular updates / photos / videos of walks in the nearby orchard and stream. Would not hesitate to recommend, with a particularly convenient location if attending a wedding at nearby Rhyse Farm.
Krystena was fantastic, she took our 2 spaniels out on multiple walks over the 24 hour period and really made them feel at home. We felt very confident that they were in safe hands and happy with Krystena, she kept us updated with multiple updates and photos. We are so pleased to have found someone we trust. Thank you!

Rosie had a wonderful time with Krystena in her beautiful home. Krystena was very accommodating and helpful, even providing Rosie with a lead as we had forgotten to pack one! I felt very secure leaving Rosie with Krystena as I was sure she would have a lovely time, as proved to be the case. I wouldn't hesitate to let Rosie stay with Krystena again.
