A qualified animal professional with nearly a decade’s experience working in rescue and canine behaviour, who’s been featured on TV in both Canada and the UK. I have always been an animal lover who enjoys learning about each animal's personality and unique quirks. This led me to work with one of the biggest animal rescues in the United Kingdom, primarily with dogs undergoing behavioural assessments. I found a particular skill with being able to make friends with very worried/nervous dogs and therefore able to help them build their confidence. I love working with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from puppies to seniors, and have experience with both deaf and blind dogs as well. I routinely worked and assisted with the vets on site and am comfortable administering prescribed medication as necessary. Enrichment was very important and carried out daily for the dogs in my care, both at work and at home.

My pups loved Krystal! She sent us a wonderful summary of their day, each day, along with photos. It was clear that she spent a great deal of time playing with them. Krystal left the house nice and clean as well.
Krystal did an amazing job watching our 3 cats while we were away on vacation. She sent lots of updates and photos that left us knowing they were happy while we were away and gave us peace of mind. We will definitely be using her again in the future!
AMAZING … she sent photos and let me know how things were going every day. I was worried that my cat wouldn’t come out of hiding the whole time and Krystal sent pictures of her playing with Jolene on the first day! I came home to a happy, non-stressed cat. I will definitely call Krystal next time I go away.
My dog immediately loved Krystal when they met. She has been so helpful on busy days when he needs a walk. 10/10 recommend. I completely trust her.

Schedule
I have recently moved from the UK and instantly loved both the sights and people in this area. Having worked in rescue for so many years, I have really enjoyed getting back to working with animals. Pet care is my primary job, so please get in touch so we can talk through your needs.

I have a large fenced-in backyard, as well as woodland trails on the property, which are great for those looking for boarding or for individuals who would like a quieter, more relaxed walk. I also have my own friendly dog for those wanting or needing a companion for their canine friend. I understand the importance of trusting someone to look after your beloved pets (and went through this same anxiety about trusting people with my own dogs), so I would welcome the opportunity to meet beforehand, to discuss your requirements, as well as answer any questions you might have about me. This also gives your dogs and/or cats the chance to get to know me in a relaxed environment.

A typical day
I think most animals enjoy a mixture of both physical and mental exercise, which is why I incorporate enrichment into daily activities. There are beautiful woodland trails and lots of interesting smells around my property for dogs to enjoy, as well as a large fenced-in yard to run around in.
