Availability
I live in Bellingham, near Demming, I am flexible with my days. I do have drop off and pick up times for my children's camp/school. I would ideally schedule drop-in around those times. If more than 1 visit is needed, I highly recommend messaging me to schedule a Housesitting visit so I can accommodate your pet(s) and homecare needs at a bundled price to cater your needs.

I will care for your pet in your home. I do accept multiple pets: cats and dogs, fish & critters, even horses at your home/property.
Information Krystal H. would like to know about your pet
I do request to only work with well behaved dogs and animals who are not aggressive towards other dogs or people, especially young children. I am happy too walk leash trained dogs, however not comfortable walking large weighing dogs who lunge or bark aggressively at other animals (skateboards and bicycles are understandable, and I do my best to avoid stressful situations during walks). If they are not well behaved on a leash, they may be limited to backyard excereize. Please inform me of the following: - Has your dog ever bitten anyone before? - Leash Trained? - Non-reactive or reactive while walking past other dogs on a trail/sidewalk? - Do they have experience with young children and how do they behave around them? - For geriatric dogs, do they need assistance walking up and down stairs, in and out of the home or dog bed? - Is your dog obsessive over food bowls and toys? - Separation anxiety? What helps? What happens when left alone, even for a few minutes? Is a crate acceptable for short periods or not? -Please be up to date of immunizations and deworming. **Whether you scheduling drop-in or Housesitting visits** If it's apparent that your dog or cat has worms, I will charge an additional $25/hr, at $25 minimum, for my time to provide communication to you, appropriate care, sanitation, and my preference is to have your vet bill you directly for any treatment/medication that I pick up and administer. Please have your dogs weight updated on their profile for this purpose.
A typical day
I will stimulate your pets mentally and physically. Will implement your preferred training commands to work on basic obedience, tricks, etc. I'll find opportunities to play and get them excersize. I have a dog game that I am happy to provide during long stays and will refill with your provided treats, too help stimulate your dog's brain while I'm away between drop in's. For the cats, I'm happy to love on them and play with their toys. My children especially love petting kitties.

Pet care experience
I am happy to offer services in your home as you spend some time away from home. I offer Housesitting as an alternative service option for multiple drop-in requests, this allows me to care for your home, mail retrieval, yard and garden as well. Please note, that I do not spend the night at clients homes. I require a meet and greet before booking for your comfort and mine. Your home and pets must be comfortable and safe for children, as I have two children that may come along for house visits. My dear Oakley, 13 year old large Labrador Retriever, crossed over the rainbow bridge September 2022. Caring for him has taught me alot about how much time and care it takes to have a pet, sometimes an owner needs to be gone for a little too long from their pet. I've been there.

Reviews

Always amazing and reliable 💛

Will always recommend Krystal. Super great with my nervous dog and sending daily updates.

Krystal was AMAZING! Not only did she do amazing with watching my dog (who takes awhile to warm up to people) and making her feel comfortable while I was away BUT all my plants inside and outside were still alive. My timeline changed a couple times with flight delays, she was able to assist with no issues. I felt very comfortable with her being in my house and taking care of my baby. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and trustworthy. I will be using her for future trips.

What a pleasant surprise to find Krystal in our neighborhood! It could not have been a better fit for our dog. We knew as soon as we met Krystal that Bosco would be so happy and well taken care of. She loves dogs, is experienced, knowledgeable and knew exactly how to make Bosco feel at home. She will be our go-to dog sitter in the future without a doubt.
