Welcome to Happy Tails Retreat!
Ive been caring for a wide range of animals since i was 11 years old. Parakeets, rabbits, frogs, dogs and cats. Im currently taking care a senior dog of my own who is 15yrs old, and I am also enrolled in classes to become a Veterinary Technician.

Krystal took wonderful care of our dog, Joules, while we were away for two weeks. We were initially nervous about leaving our older dog for that long, but Krystal made the experience completely stress-free. She kept us updated regularly, gave Joules plenty of attention and long walks, and clearly cared about his well-being. We came home to a happy dog and couldn't be more pleased. We highly recommend Krystal!

Schedule
I work from home, so I currently have full availability Monday through Sunday, your pet will not be left alone at all. I’m also available daily for evening walks or drop-ins. My schedule allows me to provide consistent and reliable care without overbooking.

Safety, trust & environment
I proactively remove anything pets could trip over, chew on, or accidentally ingest. For high energy animals, I make sure the space is secure and free of items that could be knocked over or cause injury. During walks, I stay extremely attentive to our surroundings. I’m very aware of other dogs’ body language and will always cross the street or change routes if I sense potential reactivity or if your pet shows any signs of discomfort. I prioritize calm, controlled, and positive experiences at all times

A typical day
I will incorporate enrichment into every visit: Expect sniffari adventures, mini obstacle courses, treat puzzles, and lots of praise. I love mixing in play and light training games for mental enrichment. For more relaxed pets, we’ll enjoy calm strolls and cuddle time. My goal is for them to feel safe, stimulated, and loved.
