What sets me apart is that I have experience caring for a variety of pets and understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I cared for my sister’s bunny for about three months when I was younger, and I’ve also house sat for her multiple times while caring for her dog and two cats. On top of that, I’ve completed multiple Rover bookings, including pet sitting and drop-in visits. I’m dependable, attentive, and comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining pets’ normal routines, and giving them plenty of attention while their owners are away. I also know how important communication is, so I make sure owners feel updated and reassured throughout the stay.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I carefully follow any instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, litter boxes, and other daily needs. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention while still respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. I keep the home tidy, double-check doors and locks, and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets and home are being well cared for while they’re away.

Throughout my time away, Kristy sent daily updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing my fur babies were happy and well cared for. It was clear that she genuinely cared about them and treated them as if they were her own. When I returned home, my house was clean and my dogs were relaxed, happy, and obviously very well taken care of. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Schedule
I work full-time Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, so I’m available for pet care in the early mornings, evenings, and throughout the night on workdays. On Fridays and Saturdays, I have much more flexibility and can accommodate daytime care, drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting. I’m happy to build pet care into my routine and will always make sure your pet’s schedule, feeding times, walks, and other needs are discussed ahead of time so I can provide consistent and reliable care.

- Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their normal routine, feeding schedule, personality, energy level, and any behaviors I should be aware of. It’s also helpful to know about medications, allergies, medical needs, triggers, fears, escape tendencies, and how they usually interact with other animals or people. I’d also love to know their favorite toys, treats, walking routes, hiding spots, or anything else that helps them feel comfortable and at home. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can keep their routine consistent and make their time with me as stress-free as possible.
