I'm am fully remote and work from home. I can easily take your pet out as often as they need or provide medicine/food at exact times that you prefer. Your pet would never be left alone and would be allowed access to my furniture/bed.

I have access to an unfenced yard and have two older dogs at home to keep your pet company. My dogs are not crate-trained, but I can crate your pet if that is your preference. I have both a crate and large pen to limit access to the kitchen. I can also send you updates as often as you'd like! I have a car and can take them to their vet, if needed or in case of emergency.

If your dog is on a routine, I would love to know it so I can implement it as best as I can. I would also like to know if they take any medications and when they should be given. If you pup has special needs or anxiety, I would like to take precautions and make sure they feel safe in my home.

Depends on the pet! My older pups love to nap and I play with them if they are up to it. Most of the time they want snuggles on the couch while I read or watch TV. The puppies and high-energy dogs I watch enjoy going on walks and playing with all kinds of toys in my home. You're welcome to bring their favorite toys and I will walk them as often as they need.

I've had pet dogs and cats my entire life and have pet sat for neighbors and friends since moving to the DMV area. No pet is too old or too young! I have trained puppies and am comfortable taking care of dogs that require medicine or topical treatments. I am flexible, courteous, clean and professional. I treat all pets like they are my own and I'm happy to chat and see if I'm the right sitter for you!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kristy! This was the first time I had ever left Kofi for an extended period of time. From the moment I met her, I could tell how genuinely caring, patient, and experienced she is with dogs. Her husband was also wonderful and clearly helped make Kofi feel comfortable and loved during his stay. While we were out of the country, she and her husband went above and beyond in every possible way. She sent incredibly thorough updates throughout the day with photos, videos, and detailed messages that truly gave me peace of mind. I didn’t have to wonder how he was doing because she kept me so informed and reassured the entire time. What meant the most to me was how patient and understanding she was with him. Kofi is very attached to me and takes time to adjust, but she treated him with so much kindness, gentleness, and love. She truly cares about the emotional well-being of the dogs she watches, not just the basic care. Because of this, I was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing he was safe, happy, and in such capable hands. She truly treated Kofi as her own dog, like family, and cared for him exactly the way a loving dog mom would. Thank you, Kristy!
Kristy has watched our pup three times now, and every single time she has gone above and beyond. She is genuinely one of the most thoughtful, caring, honest and trustworthy people I’ve ever met. It is so clear that she truly loves dogs and treats them like her own family. Her communication is incredible. We always received prompt updates, photos, and thoughtful check ins that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She pays attention not just to the pets, but also to the people behind them, and that level of care is rare. Taking care of puppies is not easy at all, especially with routines, picky eating, accidents, energy levels, and anxiety, but Kristy handles everything with so much patience, kindness, and professionalism. She makes sure pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and happy. Honestly, she is the best sitter we could have asked for, and I cannot recommend her enough. We trust her completely with our pup, and that says everything.
