As a fellow animal lover and traveler, I know how important it is to have a loving home environment for my pups when I am away. I want to provide that same opportunity to others. I have dog beds galore, furniture is pet friendly, a dog room with a couple of kennels and a fenced in backyard. We go on walks, enjoy deck time and can be as active or chill as your pup needs. My Nali is a pretty chill girl, herself. She is older so is starting to slow down a bit. My husky mix, Rainy, has the energy and is a little bossy in the beginning. If your dog is okay with this, most are when we do our meet and greet, then they will get along just fine.

Kristy was a perfect sitter for our pup! Our dog was playing nonstop with theirs and she went on plenty of walks and to the dog park. We'll definitely book again when we're in the area.

Kristy did a great job with my dogs! She was able to accommodate last minute scheduling changes and made sure that my dogs got along with hers before we booked. Throughout their stay, she sent lots of photos of what they were doing and notified me when one dog had a small injury. They came home super tired and so happy! I will definitely use her again.
This was our first experience on Rover and with Kristy. Our nerves were immediately assuaged through her incredibly thoughtful and communicative approach, and could immediately she genuinely cares so much about her dogs. We will absolutely be reaching out to Kristy again with pet sitting needs in the future. She also sent us tons of amazing pictures of our pup while we were away! She is THE BEST!!

Schedule
I am an elementary teacher and am very fortunate to give lots of love in the summers. During the school year, I work from 7-4 so they have to be comfortable with a work schedule with a possible potty break at noon. We do take long and short walks around the lakes, on the bike and hiking trails to get that energy out before and after work. We, also, enjoy relaxing in the sun and shade in the fenced in back yard.

I have a large and medium size crate so you wouldn’t need to haul yours if that is where your dog is comfortable. My house has been pretty dog proofed with not a lot of extras sitting around besides all the dog toys. I do have pet cams when I’m away to do checkins on the pups. Pets are allowed on the furniture if that is what yours enjoy but there are multiple dog beds around the house, as well. I respect your guidelines for your pets and the more information I can get to adhere to their typical routines the better the experience.

A typical day
We enjoy walks no matter the weather and to the lake on hot days to cool off. We, also, just like to sun on the deck or lay in the cool grass in the summer. In the winter, we enjoy a good romp in the snow. I have lots of stimulating toys and keep all sorts of goodies to reinforce good behavior.
