I've been caring for all kinds of animals since I was 10 years old. I started a business at that age, doing sitting, walking, drop ins -- you name it! I also became involved with animal rescue at that time. I love working with dogs and cats of all ages and breeds, and understand the different needs they have. I always do a meet and greet ahead of time, to get acquainted with your pet, and hear about any important details you need to share with me.

In my client's home, I make sure that doors are shut, gates are locked, and any potential dangers are stowed away and out of reach. I stick to schedules in order to minimize the stress of the parents being away.

Krys did a wonderful job with my dog and my cat! She checked in and met me know how they were doing and gave extra care to my dog, she is diabetic! I had complete trust and confidence in my pets being cared for while I was away!!! She also stayed at my house and things were just as I left them when I returned!! Kris is a highly thoughtful pet person. She watched our Louie (Cavapoo, 1 yr old) for the first time and was very professional. She brought us very insightful recommendations and observations about him and his interactions and she was highly conscientious about our home and our pet. I would recommend her highly.
I was in need of an in-home dogsitter to watch my three dogs plus two other visiting dogs while we attended an all-day event. I messaged Krys on the Rover app, and she was immediately responsive and came over later that day to meet the dogs. A few days later, the day of the booking, she arrived on time, sent photos and messages throughout the day, and we had so much confidence in her care that it made our time away more enjoyable and worry-free. Krys has a vast amount of experience with many variety of animals through involvement in rescue, wildlife rehabbing, and personal pet ownership. Kristine takes care of our animals when we are away. We have an Australian Cattle Dog (very high maintenance), cats, a parrot (also high maintenance), fish and snails. Kristine is comfortable interacting with all of them. One of my cats is very cautious and does not come out for strangers, but it is not the case when Kristine visits. The cat is friendly and welcoming when Kristine arrives. Kristine has the animals' needs in mind and it is her priority to care for them.

Schedule
I am open and able to accommodate most schedules. I have several animals myself, so I understand how important it is to stick to a plan, but also be flexible when an animal needs extra reassurance.
