Since I am home full time, I have the flexibility and dedication to ensure your pup gets the care they deserve. My schedule is completely adaptable, allowing me to accommodate your dog’s needs at any time of day. Each day revolves around my pup’s well-being, and I’m always ready to add your dog into the mix for playtime, walks, and individualized attention. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll, interactive play, or time spent simply relaxing together, I will make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and engaged. I have ample time throughout the week to create a routine that suits your dog’s needs, whether that includes early morning potty breaks, midday play sessions, or evening cuddle time. Your dog’s comfort and happiness are my priority, and I’ll make sure to give them the same care and attention that I give my own pup.

Safety, trust & environment
At my home, your dog will be under constant supervision and never left alone or unattended. I understand how important it is to trust that your pup is safe, so I will make sure they are always within sight and well cared for at all times. I am certified in First Aid for Dogs and Cats through the Canadian Red Cross, so you can feel confident that your pet’s safety and health are a top priority. We have a secure, fenced yard with plenty of space for small dogs to run and play safely. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate their routine to ensure they feel comfortable. Our Chihuahua loves to play, so your pup will have a friendly companion to interact with. For dogs with special needs, we have baby gates available and stairs leading up to the bed and couch—not only for pups with back issues, but also to prevent unsafe jumping from heights. Additionally, we have a pet stroller that can be used for senior pups or those with mobility challenges, so they can still enjoy fresh air and outings comfortably. My home can easily be adapted to provide comfort and support for your furbaby.
Information Kristine & Riley C. would like to know about your pet
To make sure your pup has the best possible experience while in my care, I ask that you share a bit about their unique personality and needs before their stay. It’s helpful to know about any behavioural quirks, special needs, medical conditions, or medications they may require. Please also let me know about their typical routines, including feeding schedules, potty habits, sleeping preferences, and how they interact with other dogs or new people. The more I know, the better I can keep your dog happy, comfortable, and safe. I’m also happy to offer a meet and greet before your booking! It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, let our pups meet, and give your dog a chance to explore the environment to ensure it’s the right fit for everyone. To arrange a meet and greet, feel free to message me. Whether your dog is high-energy, shy, a senior with special care needs, or anything in between, I’m committed to providing a safe, loving, and personalized experience just for them.
A typical day
When your dog stays with me, they’ll enjoy a day full of comfort, play, and personalized care. We’ll go on walks to explore the neighbourhood and stretch our legs, followed by fun backyard playtime in a safe, fully fenced space. I keep a variety of toys on hand for games of fetch, tug-of-war, or simply chewing and relaxing. Throughout the day, your pup will also enjoy engaging enrichment activities like treat puzzles, snuffle mats, and other mentally stimulating games to keep them happy and entertained. If you give the go-ahead, we may even head out for a short car ride to grab a pup cup from Starbucks or a dog-friendly ice cream treat! Between play sessions, there’s plenty of time for cuddles, rest, and one-on-one attention to make your dog feel safe, calm, and right at home. Whether they’re energetic or laid-back, I tailor each day to fit your dog’s needs and personality, making sure they’re loved like family every step of the way.

Compassionate Care for Your Furbaby
Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Kristine☺️. With 20+ years of experience caring for my own pets and providing pet sitting services, I am deeply passionate about ensuring your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I am currently an at-home dog mom to a 3.5 lb female Chihuahua, which allows me to give my full attention to each pet I sit. From raising puppies and providing training, to caring for senior dogs in need of daily medications (oral and subcutaneous fluids), I’ve gained hands-on experience in handling various needs. I’ve also cared for dogs with special conditions such as epilepsy, heart disease, kidney disease, and IVDD, so I am highly attuned to recognizing any clinical signs that may require immediate attention and extra care. I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and enrichment. Whether your dog requires a little extra TLC or simply a friendly companion for walks and playtime, I promise they will receive the best care possible, tailored to their individual needs.
