Hello, my name is Kristine and I'm so excited to be back on Rover after 3 years away!! Pardon me while I first take the time to update my profile and then add more current photos. Coming soon! :) A bit about me: I live in the beautiful village of Spencerport with my pup, Frankie. Frankie is a 6-year-old male Chihuahua/Toy Fox Terrier. I am home full time and able to provide around the clock care for your pup(s)! I have a spacious yard for exercising, playing and enjoying the fresh air. There are many beautiful places to walk within the village, including the beautiful Erie Canal path. Your dog(s) will be taken for multiple walks throughout the day. It is important to me to keep your dog, as close as possible, to his/her home schedule as far as feeding; walking; sleeping; and any other scheduled or special requirements they may have. If your dog is allowed on the furniture at home, he is welcome to do so here as well. Sleeping on the bed is also allowed (if ok'd by you!). Your dog will have free roam in the house. If he/she uses a crate, please bring that along for their stay. I have experience with many breeds and temperaments. Dogs with special needs are always welcome as well as those requiring medication administration, including insulin injections. I am certified in first aid and CPR for dogs. I have over 30 years of experience with my personal dogs; 20 years of experience dog sitting; 12 years of experience volunteering with local rescue; and 9 years of experience as a Dog Obedience Trainer, receiving my certification from Animal Behavior College. Kristine was awesome. This was my first time leaving my dog anywhere overnight, and I am so happy with how it turned out. She genuinely cares for the dogs she boards. I felt good knowing my baby girl was in such good hand. I will definitely be using her services again.
Kristine was a great sitter. I was able to travel without worrying about my boy. She sent me updates and room great care of him.
This was our first time using Kristine for Cooper and he loved her. He was with her for a little over a week which was stressful but, she helped me relax by sending daily updates and pics❤️ He has been home for 24 hrs and has settled in nicely. I have used Kristine in the past and recently reconnected with her. She is very welcoming and accommodating to flexible schedules. You can tell that she loves animals and cares for them well. I would recommend Kristine for any pet needs.

Schedule
I am home all day, every day, leaving your pet only if I need to run out for an appointment or errand. Your pet's care will be my first priority.

Safety, trust & environment
I will care for your pup as if he/she were my own. I strive to keep them on the same schedule as they are at home as far as their feeding schedule; walking; medication; bed time; etc. Their safety is always a priority.

A typical day
I enjoy walking the dogs all through the neighborhood for them to see and smell so many new things! We often go exploring on the Erie Canal path. Your dog(s) will be walked multiple times throughout the day. We have fun playing tug with a stuffy! And indoor throwing of stuffies for fetch games!

- For dogs who will be boarding with me I like to know If your dog gets along well with other dogs; what their diet consists of and if there are any known allergies; any medical concerns-seizures; skin conditions; etc.; if your dog has any particular fears; what are his/her habits and schedules. This way I will be sure to have all the pertinent information documented should you hire me as your dog sitter.
