I have had decades of experience providing personal care for pets that have a variety of needs. I want the dog to miss you but not TOO much and I need to know their likes, dislikes, fears and faves to help build a good relationship ;) the more details the better!
A typical day
I meet them where they are at! Every dog is different and meeting new people can require different levels of energy and stress. My goal is to ensure I meet their emotional and physical needs and ensure a healthy balance of mental and physical drain :)

With over a decade running my own dog training and pet care business, I bring a unique mix of experience, education, and heart to every pup I care for. I’m a certified professional trainer, pet first aid certified, and Fear Free Handling graduate, with a soft spot for seniors, rescues, and dogs who need a little extra understanding. From puppies learning the ropes to older dogs needing meds or mobility support, I adapt to each dog’s needs and personality. My care is calm, structured, and rooted in trust—because your dog deserves more than just a sitter. They deserve someone who gets them.

Kristine recently looked after all 8 of my pets while I was away on holiday, and I couldn't be more grateful. My dog already knows her family, so I was fortunate she was able to stay with them. Kristine visited my home 2–3 times a day to care for my five cats and two parrots. A couple of my cats require different doses of the same medication, and one is on a special diet—Kristine handled all of that with care and attention. I returned home to happy, healthy cats and spotless litter boxes. Although cleaning the parrot cages wasn’t part of what I hired her for (one of them is a Macaw cage, which is no small task), I was pleasantly surprised to find them clean, too! Kristine went above and beyond, and I’ve never had such amazing pet-sitting service. I truly hope she continues offering drop-in visits and pet care—she’s a gem!
Kristine always takes amazing care of my 2 kitties. She is awesome with my girl that has many medical needs. I always feel assured they are being well loved and cared for when I am away.
