When hired, your pet’s normal schedule is my schedule! As a full time professional walker & sitter, I am available to care for your fur babies any day of the week. Kindly note that for house sitting, I am typically unable to accommodate overnight stays exceeding 1-2 nights, but I am able to care for your critters throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening while you’re away.

My priority is to keep your pet’s environment and schedule as normal as possible, while keeping you in the loop with lots of feedback, photos and videos! Please give me a heads up about any special needs or behaviors your pet may have (separation anxiety, reaction to storms/rain, how they are on a leash). The more info in your pet’s bio, the better! I’m great with all pets, but I’m especially patient with shy animals who need a little warming up. I also have extensive experience with strong and energetic breeds who need to burn off some energy!
A typical day
I love nature and lots of walking! Always up for a trip to the park or even a hike (if you’re dog likes that and you are comfortable with transport). Meadow Breeze Park and Point Mountain are my favorite local spots. I love incorporating toys so that your pup’s energy is spent in a healthy way (tug toys, fetch, treat toys). It’s especially fun to see dogs get the zoomies when playing! As for kitties, I’m all for taking their lead: if they want to play, I love feather or string toys, but if they’re looking for a cuddle, I definitely give the best scratches & pets!

*UPDATE: Thank you to my amazing clients for entrusting me with your four legged family members! After a joyful 2 years of full time pet care, I am now working full time at a vet’s office and will only be taking clients on a very limited basis. Please feel free to reach out to see if I can accommodate any drop in visits or walks around my work schedule. I have done pet care for over 10 years (I’m 33) both professionally and for family & friends. I have been an avid animal lover my entire life and was a former volunteer at a wildlife rehab for over a year. I have experience with senior/disabled animals, as well as administering medicine (insulin shots, pills, topicals, etc). Patience & love are essential in this field. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I actually get quite sad when a stay is over! I really bond with animals and enjoy getting to know all of their personalities so it’s definitely bittersweet when it’s time to say goodbye.
