A typical day
My favourite places to go on walks are neighbourhood parks and forest or lake-side trails. If your dog enjoys playing with a stick, a ball, or any toys, these would be part of our fun activities together.

Pet care experience
I grew up spending summers on my grandparents' farm, raised our dog Julie, a black Cocker Spaniel, for 16 years, our cat Marcus, an orange tabby, for 12 years, and now our home is filled with cat cuddles from our black Bombay cat Murphy. In the past, I volunteered at Kingston and Burlington Humane Societies caring for dogs and cats in the shelter as a shelter supervisor as well as fostered pets from my home. I also worked at Escarpment Pet Retreat in Burlington, a boarding kennel for dogs and cats, and I occasionally house and pet sit or provide home visits for friends and family. Our dog Julie and I attended a training boot camp for 6 months.
