Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I work from home. This allows me to be present, attentive, and flexible throughout the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. Pets in my care are never left alone for long periods and receive consistent attention and supervision.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and house rules provided by the owner to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and mental stimulation based on their energy level and personality, along with quiet time for rest. Safety is always a priority, and I closely monitor behavior, appetite, and overall well-being. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so owners feel confident and connected while they’re away. My goal is to create a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for—just like they would at home.

Information Kristina S. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, it’s important for me to know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs, including medications or allergies. I also like to learn about their personality, energy level, and comfort triggers so I can provide the best care possible. Knowing about training cues, house rules, leash behavior, and how they interact with other pets or people is very helpful. I also appreciate information on favorite toys, treats, and calming techniques, as well as emergency contacts and vet details. The more I know ahead of time, the more comfortable, safe, and happy your pet will be in my care.
A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch is a good balance of play, exercise, and relaxation. The day usually starts with a morning walk or potty break, followed by breakfast and some one-on-one attention. Depending on the pet’s energy level, we’ll spend time playing with toys, going for additional walks, or enjoying enrichment activities that keep them mentally stimulated. Throughout the day, there’s plenty of companionship, check-ins, and cuddle time, especially since I work from home and can be present and attentive. I make sure pets get regular breaks, fresh water, and any medications they need. In the evening, we wind down with a calm walk, gentle play, or quiet time before dinner and bedtime. Fun activities are always tailored to each pet and may include neighborhood walks, interactive toys, basic training reinforcement, puzzle games, or simply relaxing together. My goal is for every pet to feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

Loving Care When You Can’t Be There
Pet care experience
I provide calm, attentive, and personalized care, making sure every pet feels comfortable and secure in my care. I have hands-on experience with puppies who need structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement, as well as senior pets who benefit from patience, gentle handling, and extra attention. I’m comfortable giving medication, following special feeding routines, and keeping up with any training or house rules you have in place. What truly sets me apart is the care and attention I put into getting to know each pet. I take the time to understand their personality, energy level, and comfort cues so they feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet like my own and always prioritize safety, clear communication, and dependable care.
