With over 15 years of pet ownership (dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, and birds, oh my!), I bring real world experience to every animal I care for. I’ve supported pets through daily medication routines, post-surgery recovery, and pregnancy, and I understand the unique needs of senior pets who may require extra patience, comfort and a consistent routine. I’m especially skilled at working with shy or nervous animals, taking the time to build trust and interact at their own pace so they feel safe and understood. My love for animals extends to all personalities, ages, and health conditions. I’m committed to providing gentle, attentive, and reliable care every time. Whether your pet is playful, anxious, elderly, or recovering, you can trust that they’ll be cared for like my own: with love, dignity, compassion, and respect.

When I’m caring for your pet in your home, I focus on keeping their environment clean, comfortable, and familiar. I always take note of the space (scooping litter boxes, cleaning water bowls) and making sure everything looks the way you’d want it. I tailor each visit to your pet’s personality and preferences. That might mean interactive play with their favorite toys, gentle pets and rubs, treats (if allowed), or daily walks. I try to make sure they get the right amount of mental stimulation and engagement to keep them relaxed and happy. My goal is to make sure your pet feels secure, stimulated, and loved while you’re away.

Kristina always does such a great job with my dog Maggie! She sends pictures and informs me on how the walks go with detail. I feel very comfortable leaving Maggie in her care.
Kristina was amazing!!!!!!! My cat ADORED her and she kept in contact with me every day she visited him. I felt a lot better about traveling because I knew she was trustworthy and experienced! She’s also super nice, so it’s a plus! Next time I’m out of town she is the first person I’ll book!
Kristina took such excellent care of our cats! She went above and beyond when one of our cats got sick during her visit, and was great about giving him medicine every morning. She gave detailed updates and made us feel so at ease the whole trip! We’re so glad to have connected with her and will definitely ask her to look after them again!
Kristina did a great job walking my dog Maggie! She followed my instructions to a T and Maggie had some much needed time outside while I was gone. She was very communicative and sent photos throughout her time with Maggie. I’m looking forward to reaching out to Kristina for any future walks!

Kristina has spent her whole life taking care of pets. She currently has two cats and is the best cat mom I’ve ever seen. Kristina is the type of person that when they meet a pet for the first time there’s an instant connection and they’ll be friends in no time. From a young age she has always loved and cared for pets, so I know she will be an excellent caregiver for anyone’s pet.

Schedule
I currently work from home part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pets care. I was born and raised in NYC (Bushwick, specifically. Now residing in Ridgewood), so I’m here year-round including holidays. I am consistently available and able to accommodate last-minute bookings or schedule changes. With my flexible schedule, I am able to easily adjust my day to provide regular check-ins, extended visits, or whatever your pet needs to feel comfortable and cared for.
