I will do drop in visits as early as 9am, and as late as 6pm. Visits will be coordinated around our little’s school schedule. Depending on location, I will do up to 3 visits per day.

Our yard is not fenced, so guests are leashed while outdoors. It is quite a large yard, so guests can get plenty of exercise and stimulation. Guests have their own space in a separate room so they can feel comfortable with their own crate/bed/toys etc., but also are free to roam the rest of the house when they desire. We do not allow guests in the bedrooms, so visitors must be comfortable sleeping in their own room alone at night.

I love all breeds, but I do have a fondness for larger dogs. I would like to be able to meet the animals prior to sitting so that they will feel comfortable with me, especially if they take a few extra moments to trust new folks. I'm comfortable working with pets that have behavior issues, as long as those are disclosed in advance. We have cats and small children in our home, and ask that new guests have a proven track record of getting along with others. We can no longer accept non-neutered males or guests that have not had experience with cats or small children.
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog As much time as they'd like! I have found with previous pet-sitting opportunities that some pets enjoy having company, beyond playtime, feeding, and walking. Extra house-sitting services Watering plants and bringing in the mail is fine, depending on other tasks that are more time consuming, the fee may be adjusted.

I am independently bonded and insured, and registered with the Pet Sitters Association, Pet Professional Guild, and International Association of Animal Behaviourists (IAABC). I live in Whitehouse Station and service central New Jersey in the following areas: Whitehouse Station, Branchburg, Bridgewater, Oldwick, Readington Township, Pluckemin. If you are outside of these towns (or surrounding area), please feel free to make an inquiry and I will let you know my availability. I have many years of experience caring for animals, and am comfortable handling all breeds and temperaments. I'm able to administer medications as needed, including injectables. I enjoy working with all sizes of dogs, but have a fondness for larger ones! I also enjoy working with farm animals (cows, sheep, chickens, rabbits, pigs, goats, etc.) I've volunteered at animal rescue shelters and have extensive personal experience with stray and injured animals, caring for them permanently or releasing them into the wild once they're ready. I apprenticed at a cattle farm located in Stockton, NJ, and worked with cows, chickens, sheep, and rabbits on a daily basis. I also have worked in veterinary hospitals and am familiar with what to do in case of emergency. Why I love dog sitting I've had a love of all creatures since I was a little girl, and I had dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, and assorted small fuzzy critters growing up.

I can’t say enough good things about Kristina! This was our first time having a sitter for our pup and we were a bit nervous. However, from the moment we met, I felt completely at ease leaving our dog in her care. She were attentive, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I received regular updates, photos, and little notes that showed how well our pup was being cared for. When I came home, our pup was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved.
