Our experience was not good. We booked Kristina on short notice because our usual Boarding host got closed down for unknown reasons. We offered a meet & greet since our dog has anxiety issues, but was declined. Days leading up to the scheduled date, we continued to discuss everything so that both sides were comfortable as at this point we were no longer in the area (on vacation). Our Son dropped off our dog for his 5 day stay, staying there for the transition for 5 min until he was told everything was all set. Less then 20 min later we were called to retrieve our pet because of suspicious activity and host wasn’t comfortable. We sent our son back to retrieve our pet, and he did with no issues. Once picked up, host charged us for 3 nights at a higher rate and said it was because of a cancellation policy. We didn’t cancel anything, she had our pet for 20 min then charged us over $200 for it. We have an investigation going thru Rover. We did reach out to sitter to discuss refund as 20 min was basically nothing and we would drop the matter, she refused. We hope others do not fall into this situation. We were very fortunate that our Son was around, but our pet had to spend the next 5 days without much attention as we were away and our son had to work.

Kristina was a wonderful dog watcher and gave great updates and pictures. Very trustworthy.

Luna always looks forward to visiting Kristina's house! Plenty of play time with other dogs and Kristina really pays attention to the dogs in her care.

Kristina is amazing and caring. You can tell she truly loves animals and took great care of our dogs. I was nervous to leave them, but she sent pics and updates and made us feel comfortable. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs pet sitting!!

Everything seemed ok. On my way to NY, I left Chikao with Kristina and we discussed a few things. He was stressed from the car trip and with the new environment. He is a small shiba inu, only 10 months old. Ten minutes after I left him, Kristina started texting me telling me Chikao was nervous and showing teeth. I told her he was probably scared and overwhelmed. She agreed but kept sending me messages and giving me mixed signals that made me really uncomfortable. I had to stop at a gas station to figure things out. She kept saying he was nervous, he was freaking out, etc like she was uncertain of what to do in situations like this. I had to go back and take the traffic NY-CT to pick him up. One detail: I told her what to do the whole time, Chikao didn’t do anything wrong, after she kept him for a while in a crate he was behaving normally again. She even sent me pictures of him playing. But I wasn’t ok about leaving him because I felt unsure and uncomfortable. We had to talk over the phone and she was also really rude, telling me I had hidden some information, I didn’t explain things enough, even though we had discussed all the details. Seemed really odd, and this experience really drained me! I had to take Chikao with me to NY and we were both really tired after all the trouble and traffic on the road.
