When I’m not at home or out and about with my pups and/or peers, I am a full-time Forensic Social Worker who works with incarcerated individuals. As of right now I have limited availability during the week. Weekends are more readily available but please do not hesitate to message me and ask about my availability if there is a date and time that is not reflected on my calendar.

I accept gigs in MD, DC, and VA. I do not provide services out of my home. I travel to my clients’ homes for drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays. I ask clients to provide me with clear instructions that list their pets’ feeding schedules, walking schedules, medical needs, etc. and I will accommodate to the best of my ability. Efficiency and communication are key. Progress reports will be given daily.

A typical day
One size does not fit all because every dog is different. Therefore, deserves customized and quality care that is tailored to them (e.g. nature walks, tossing the ball around, chasing a laser light, shredding stuffed animals…sorry not sorry, tug-o-war, tricks, cuddles on the couch, etc). That includes cats, small rodents, and birds too!

Pet care experience
An adult who has a big heart for all animals! I have owned pets since the age of twelve. 16+ years of experience working in pet care to include training, boarding/daycare, veterinary medicine, retail, dog-sitting, and dog-walking. Experience in caring for all sizes, rescues, puppies, and senior dogs. Experience with cats, small rodents, and birds too. Can administer oral and topical medications. Alert, observant, and attentive to a pet’s body language and will always try my best to make sure your pet feels comfortable, happy, and loved whether it's feeding time, playtime, medication time, a cuddle session, or a walk.

Kristina is an EXCELLENT, caring, trustworthy and attentive pet sitter. We are quite neurotic about our pups, and it’s been a while since we have had to use a sitter. We were so worried about them! They are both hounds so they’re “runners” and one is extremely shy, fearful of loud sounds, and anxious. Kristina provided us true peace of mind! She sent lots of photos the entire time, and told us cute stories of their antics throughout each day. I highly recommend Kristina. You should stop at her name and book her now! She’s wonderful!

Kristina did a wonderful job while housesitting with our 10-week-old puppy. It's clear that she loves pets and cares about their well-being. She was cheerful and willing to stay about a hour longer than expected when our event ran long. Highly recommended!
Kristina was a lifesaver for us for a last minute request to pet sit our dog, Phoenix. She was incredibly accommodating and communicative. She sent us updates and photos of our pup through our her stay, which was much appreciated. Kristina is incredibly professional and personable, and would trust her with our dog for future needs.
