My love for dogs started when I was a kid—my grandpa taught me how to create gentle bonds with our family’s dogs. I became the one with the dog obsessed-personality and for two years I volunteered at the Animal Shelter in SLO, CA. It was so rewarding and all I ever want to do is make sure these animals always feel loved! Any time someone needs an amateur trainer, they call me! I love dogs, and want to make my passion for them into a career. Moving to Oregon has been a whirlwind, and I’m excited to continue working with the community and their furry friends!

Kristina was one of the best sitters we ever had during our time here in San Diego! We’ve gone through a lot and only a select few have left us with a great impression afterwards. Our corgi isn’t the easiest to take care of for most due to his high energy, but Kristina met and exceeded our expectations! From providing daily status updates as well as providing us a nice polaroid of our pup at the end, she did a great job.

Kristina was a wonderful sitter for our pup Raffle. She went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable, took him for long walks, and gave him the space to run outside! She gave him treats and even gave him a toy to take home. She sent pictures throughout the weekend so we never had to worry about how Raffle was doing. We would definitely book with Kristina again :)
Kristina is the biggest animal lover I know! She has a big heart and lots of experience working with animals though her job at the humane society. She has watched my 2 year old dog Scout many times and I have always felt comfortable leaving those two together! She’s the best!
Kristina did a great job watching our two dogs and cat while we were away for a wedding. Our dogs can be challenging as they are both large and have their quirks being rescues but she embraced them and their quirks. She regularly sent us pictures and updates and even left an adorable Polaroid pic of the pets for us. Not only did she make sure they were well taken care of and loved but she also left our home in better shape than we left it. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Schedule
I’ve recently moved to Oregon and I’m ready to get back into dog-sitting for the time being! That means my availability is wide open and I can drop in for quick visits or weekend stays.

My own experience with dogs is unorthodox to some; it’s their world and I just live in it. I love them inside and following me around and don’t mind them on furniture or in rooms. I have experience with crate training if that is what is preferred, as well as dog walking since we learned tactics in the animal shelter. I also like to expand on dog enrichment to keep their minds engaged as well as their bodies!
Pets
A typical day
I love taking the dogs out on a long walk throughout my neighborhood and letting them use their nose to sniff around. I have a few enrichment toys that will wear the mind and if that doesn’t work, my own dog Loki loves to play! If the owner is comfortable, I love taking dogs out to dog-friendly restaurants and coffee shops!
