I have loved and cared for cats my entire life. In the earliest picture I have of me with one of our cats, I was 6. Most of the 20+ cats I've had throughout my life just randomly showed up at our house and I begged my parents to keep them. The most we cared for at one time was 9 (including 5 kittens), and we now have 3: Bebe, Louis, and Sosa. I do have experience administering medication in both pill and liquid form to my own cats, but please note that I am not licensed nor certified to perform veterinary duties. During cat sitting, my regular routine is to first introduce myself to the cat with their human present (if that's an option). Once I arrive for the first day of cat sitting, I remind the cat who I am, why I'm there and for how long I'll be staying. I talk to the cat(s) throughout the day as I perform my duties. As soon as they are ready, I will pet and play with them as often as they wish. I listen to their cues for when to start/stop pet and play, and I am very well-versed in cat body language. A lot of the knowledge that I have comes from watching Jackson Galaxy, my favorite cat behaviorist, as well as from closely observing the behavior of my own cats, plus any cats I meet in the wild or as clients. (Yes, I call my cats, not their humans, my clients.) I truly love and cherish cats so deeply, and I feel the same for every single cat I meet. I do the sniff test every time and let cats warm up to me on their own schedule. I have cat sat for both family and clients through pet sitting apps such as Rover. I really do just love cats!

Kristina is truly amazing. She took care of my cat for almost two weeks while I was out of town, and I honestly could not have felt more comfortable the entire time. She is a genuine animal lover and such a caring, thoughtful, and respectful person. I deeply appreciated the extra effort she put into staying communicative, and from the photos and videos she sent, it was clear my sweet baby boy was having the time of his life! Kristina has sat for my Maine Coon Morgan since the first few day I got him. She was always on time, brought toys and items my cat might be interested in. She takes her time with cats to let them get to know her, and gain their confidence. Your cat will instantly know, she's there for their best interest. We love her and highly recommend her working with your beautiful fur baby.
Kristina’s mom, here! Kristina has always had a deep love and respectful appreciation for all cats. Our first 2 cats wandered onto our property when she was only 4 & 5yrs old and she made darn sure we adopted them both! Over time we adopted several others plus 2 Goldendoodles and at one point had 9 cats (1 momma & 5 kittens) and 2 dogs, all that she helped take care of. She has spent many hours online learning and engaged in interviews with vets about the behaviors and mannerisms of our feline pets, in order to serve them better. She has educated our family on her knowledge of cats, how different their personalities are and how we can be better pet owners by learning each cat as individuals. Since I knew her deep love of cats I even made sure we took her to visit The Hemingway House in Key West just so she could interact with the polydactyl (6 toes) descendants of Hemingways’s cat, Snow White. She was in awe of them but respectfully maintained a safe distance as to not disrupt their normal routine. She has demonstrated responsibility with our cats when they became ill or had surgery, making out medicine and proper feeding schedules. I believe she will take care of cats she sits for as her own.
