Dogs are my heart and soul. If I'm not at home with them, it's generally due to some walks needed elsewhere or coaching volleyball. I'm a work horse so they get my full attention when I am around!

Whether in my home or yours, I try to keep the pup's routine as close to what they are used to as possible. If you're looking for someone to be by your dog's side full time I am unfortunately unable to provide that care due to the inconsistency of the profession. I do however have a roommate that has a regular 9-5 job so in the evenings and weekends he is generally around to help out as needed.

Personality and quirks. Do they remain out in the house or crated when left alone? Comfort level with crates. Comfort level with strangers (both human and dog). Aggression level. Are you okay with them going to dog parks? Are you comfortable with me taking them with me, such as to a dog-friendly patio or a friend's house? Do they like to play with other dogs? If so, do they prefer toys, wrestling, running? If not, do they like to be around but not bothered or are they happier snoozing in another room away from the other pups?
A typical day
There is a school and park within 5 miles of my home for walks. If they are dog park friendly there is one extremely close as well. I have plenty of dog toys and brain engaging activities for busy time. If they like snuggles I'm all theirs as my dog is more independent and doesn't snuggle much. If they like to play, there's always a pup here wanting to wrestle or run!

Pet care experience
I absolutely love dogs! I am my friends and family's go-to for dog-sitting and have everything you might need including bowls, treats, toys, bones, kennels, etc - just bring their food. I have taken care of everything from puppies to senior citizens. I grew up with an amazing mutt, and now that I have my own home I have a very sweet, old-hearted Coonhound mix. He gets along with any sized or aged dog, and generally minds his own business (Mr. Independent). I have trained Jasper myself, so I am always willing to abide by whatever rules or training you suggest. I have dealt with food aggressive dogs before, so I don't struggle once I understand the dog's needs and discomfort. Willing to go above and beyond! Dogs that visit or stay generally go home happy and exhausted from lots of playtime! However if they prefer to relax and just go for a few walks a day I accommodate that as well. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run or sun bathe. I have lots of dog toys if staying at my home. I also have extra bowls and crates, one of which is a 6 foot outdoor kennel that Jasper no longer uses. It's in my basement, not outside. I also allow dogs to roam the house when I am out if that is what they are used to, separating dogs from different households just to be safe. I feed dogs from separate homes in separate rooms, and monitor dogs from the same home to make sure no one is stealing from the wrong bowl. Feel free to ask any questions you might have and I'll do my best to answer! No question is silly or stupid when you're new to the experience. Dogs are my life and my full time job, so I'm all theirs! I generally have some lunchtime walks that I do through the week and maybe am and/or pm drop ins, varying by day. Weekends are less busy in that respect. I have a 5 ft aluminum fenced in yard. If your dog is tiny and could possibly fit through the slats I keep them on a leash. I don't leave dogs from different households alone together, even when outside. I have multiple crates of various sizes to fit your dogs needs if they are crated. Don't worry, if you trust them to wander around your home uncrated then they are free to do so here as well!
Reviews

Kristin is such a friendly and accommodating host. She was able to take care of Lola on short notice after we had to temporarily change care. She cares for all the dogs and Lola always came back happy after her stays and play.

Kristin really saved the day with her flexibility after we needed to change care for Lola on short notice. Lola had a blast and came home exhausted after playing with the other dogs

Kristin is the best! Highly recommend her!

Kristen is the best! She takes great care of our girl! She loves her! Kristin gives great updates and sends pics throughout! I never worry about my pup when Kristin is here. She’s a great sitter!!❤️
