Availability
I work remotely 4 days a week, and in office on Tuesdays. For housesitting, your pet must be okay to be at home alone between 4-6 hours. If your pet needs constant care (meaning they cannot be home alone for at least 4 hours) please let me know and we can discuss options. Beyond that, I would be happy to discuss your pet’s specific needs during a meet and greet to make sure they get all the love and attention they need.

A typical day
I have all kinds of enrichment games to play with your pet, if they are interested. We will be sure to get plenty of mental and physical exercise. Overnight dogsitting includes at least 1 walk per day.

Pet care experience
I have 6+ years of animal rescue work experience and I have raised 2 dogs of my own. This includes training puppies, supplying medications and assistance to pets with medical issues, caring for cats, and everything in between! I’ve been a house/dog/cat sitter for family, friends, and friends of friends for well over a decade. I have been through formal dog training classes and I would be happy to supply references from prior clients upon request.

Could not ask for a better sitter than Kristin!!! She was communicative, thoughtful, and went above and beyond. It was obvious she took wonderful care of our dogs during a 2 week overnight. I feel so lucky to have found such a great sitter and would recommend her to everyone.
Kristin was so great with our two dogs and watching our roommate's cat! They seemed very active and engaged in all the photos she sent, and it sounds like they even had a great time going for a walk with someone new. There was great communication the entire time. Our car broke down on our way home from our trip and Kristin went above and beyond to come back and feed our dogs dinner one last time, even though she had left hours ago. We are so thankful that our babies were taken care of while we were stranded multiple times on the side of the road hours away. Thank you!!! We will absolutely use Kristin again for pet-sitting in our home.
Kristin was a wonderful, reliable, communicative sitter! One of my dogs is very anxious and Kristin was amazing at staying calm in his presence, allowing him time to get used to her without pressure. She asked great questions to get to know him, our other dog, and household routines so she could not only take great care of the pups but also keep them on a schedule they were familiar with to ensure leaving/returning home was seamless for them as well as us. So happy to have found such a caring sitter!
