My husband and I both work fulltime, but have somewhat offset schedules, so during the week, your pup(s) would be either crated or gated in our home for up to 6-7 hours. I have the flexibility to work from home depending on workload, so I would make every effort to adjust so I can work from home if possible during your dog’s stay.

Dogs in our home have free rein of the house while we’re home. We let our dogs on the couch and bed and your dog would be welcome to as well if you’re OK with it. At night and when we’re not home, we would either crate or gate your dog (and ours). We have an extra bedroom that your pup would call theirs during their stay. Our yard isn’t fenced in, so we would keep your pup on leash in the yard. We have a long leash available to use to allow for roaming.

I would like to know if your dog has any behavioral issues I should be aware of. Behavioral issues will certainly not deter me for sitting - I would just like to know ahead of time so I can make arrangements in the home as necessary. I would also like to know your dog's energy level. We don't have any breed preferences - small to large dogs welcome! Our pack (both dogs and kiddos) are great with all dogs. For reference, my parents have a 3 lb yorkie mix that our dog and kids do well with, we rescued an elderly pitbull who has since passed, and our current pups range from 30 lbs to 85 lbs, so we really run the gambit with experience with size and breed!
A typical day
We are a pretty active family so we tend to go for walks daily, and go for hikes on the weekends. During the summer months, we spend a lot of time outdoors! We would take your dog(s) on any adventures we go on as a family if you’re comfortable with it!

With two young daughters, ages 6 and 7, who have grown up alongside our three friendly canine companions, our home is a haven for wagging tails and endless playtime! Meet our furry family members: 🐶 Yukon: A lovable Shepherd/Lab mix who adores making new friends and exploring the great outdoors. 🐶 Ziggy: A playful Border Collie/Lab mix with boundless energy who loves making new friends. 🐶 Moose: Our sweet Heeler mix, and the baby of the family. He is still a puppy and learning manners, but is a quick learner and is eager to please. Rest assured, our household is equipped to provide a safe and stimulating environment for your doggo(s) to thrive in. Whether it’s daily walks, cozy cuddle sessions, or exciting playdates, We are dedicated to tailoring each experience to suit your pup’s individual needs. We do not have a fenced in yard, but it is large- over an acre of lawn and woods, which makes for great supervised outdoor play. We also have a large finished basement and plenty of toys to keep everyone entertained. Your furry friends will feel right at home under our house care. Kristin took wonderful care of Milo and Mazi! She was timely with her responses and sent many pictures and updates. Her 3 dogs and 2 kids played well with our 2 dogs. We are planning on booking them again for me:t weekend because they did such a wonderful job and we trust they are in good hands.
Kristin and her family took great care of my dog. He gets nervous and lonely when we're gone and she helped him feel right at home. She sent plenty of pictures and updates so we knew how he was doing. We will definitely rebook in the future if we go out of town!
