My schedule is pretty flexible. I babysit for a family in Preston three days a week but the times vary. It evens out to about 18/20 hours spread throughout three days so if your pet is here during those days they may be here without me for a few hours. My fiance does help when he’s off of work so as long as he’s home they would have him too.

I own my home with my fiance, and we have a fenced in yard. The fence is about half of the height of your typical fenced in yard, so if your pet is curious and you think they would jump it we can accommodate a lead for your pet to be on just in case. This way they can still get the exercise and freedom a fenced in yard would provide. If your pet is used to going on walks, let me know so we can keep that same routine here. All outside playtime will be supervised as well. Our home contains a very friendly lab who is two and very high energy and gets excited easily, an older chihuahua mix (around 14 years old) and a middle aged chihuahua mix (6 years old). All pets in my home are vaccinated. I am also a nursing student and my boyfriend is a police officer, so we like to think this helps make us trustworthy and professional people who will give you peace of mind while you’re away.

Let me know what you’d like me to know about your pet so I know how to best care for them. If they need any medications/supplements I’m more than happy to accommodate. If you would like a meet and greet we can schedule that, just make sure to bring a leash for your pet so we can introduce them appropriately. If you have multiple pets then the meet and greet may be a bit longer. If no meet and greet is requested that’s okay, my fiance and I will introduce the dogs one by one once they get here on leashes so we can have control over them if they don’t get along. If for whatever reason they don’t get along, we can accommodate keeping the separate for their stay. My top priority is safety!

I will be sure to stick to whatever your normal routine is with your pet so they don’t have any added stress with you already being away. Our dogs are kenneled when we aren’t home and for bedtime (mostly, sometimes we let them sneak in our bed lol) but typically as long as there are no issues we can follow what your pet is used to at home. We have gates separating the two living rooms and an all season sunroom so plenty of room for everyone to have their own space if needed.

I have taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. My family has always had pets, and I’m a natural pet lover. About two years ago I got my first domestic bunny, and now have two (of course Humphrey needed a bunwife). So I am experienced in bunny care as well. I am so excited to gain your trust by treating your fur babies like my own, and promise to make you feel secure leaving them with me!

Kristin is wonderful! We have had her keep our lab and he loves being with her. She provides a lot of pictures to keep us informed while we are away and our lab is always well taken care of which makes being away easier!
