I am free all day. If I do need to run out for anything your dog will be safe in my back room. No guessing about it. I won’t let anything happen to your pet as well as mine. Separation is key.

Safety, trust & environment
My yard is fenced. My German shepherd is friendly and listens well. I always ease into the meeting. Tails usually wag and I can let them go outside together with me.. Some dogs are scared and that’s fine. I don’t force them to mingle with my dogs. I just take it slow and see how it goes. You can trust that your pet will be fed, watered, walked if they need to be and comfortable in my home. Please only bring your dogs food and instructions if the feeding is specific.

Information Kristin R. would like to know about your pet
How does your dog sleep? Is your dog crated? Any destructive tendencies? Howling at night? Does your dog have any allergies? Does your dog bolt to food if left down? Let me know the schedule you expect your pup to be on. Will your pup jump a 5ft fence? A heads up of any unexpected behaviors will be appreciated.
A typical day
Typically we go outside a lot. We play fetch and I have a toy box the pups can help themselves to. Dogs can go outside as much as they want when the weather is good. Pups sleep in crates at night for safety sake. I have all sizes so I can accommodate if your pup does not own a crate.

Pet care experience
Hi! I have had pets my entire life. I currently have a German shepherd, a RatChi and a chihuahua. I understand caring for pets, keeping dogs separate and also safe. I won’t let your dog be in a bad situation. I separate dogs anytime I must leave the house. I have a fenced in yard and an extra room. I can juggle dogs all day if I need to. Safety is the most important thing about sitting your pets. Your pets must be friendly to humans. No pit bulls. I would like to meet your dog and do a dog meet before we set up a stay. My first time using Rover I had an awful experience and my dog Bean was killed. So once I recovered from that heartbreak I began sitting for Rover myself. I feel good about what I do and know how important our babies are to us.
Reviews

My dog was excited to spend time with Kristin who was very helpful and flexible with scheduling. I received regular photos. My dog loved hanging out in the spacious yard and was well taken care of. Thanks, Kristin!

We had several last-minute changes to our travel plans and Kristin was extremely accommodating and patient. Our dog was well taken care of and was clearly very happy. We really appreciate it.

Kristin was an excellent pet sitter with Valentine! She sent me multiple photos everyday and replied very quickly. Valentine was a very happy girl when I picked her up and I would definitely recommend Kristin to care for your dog. Thanks for taking great care of Valentine!

Great sitter for dogs who can interact comfortably with other dogs. This sitter tends to have multiple guests boarding at the same time which isn’t a good fit for one of my dogs who can get anxious and has had difficulty feeling safe in those circumstances. I would not recommend this sitter for dogs who need more supervision or support.
