I am mainly offering pet care in the clients home as that is where pets would be the most comfortable; however, on a case by case basis I could do pet care in my home for dogs only -- we have a fenced in backyard.

A typical day
I believe dogs especially should have enrichment throughout the day--playing with toys, walking, doing treat puzzles or just simply hanging out with them to give comfort.

I have always had pets since I was a little girl, then spent my early teen years to adulthood caring for others pets. I then branched out to work with animals professionally at an animal shelter for 4 years. I have worked with a variety of kittens/cats, puppies, young dogs, sweet seniors of all sizes

Kristin was absolutely wonderful with my dogs. I have two female pitbull’s and one is very high strung and anxious and she was so patient and kind with her. I would absolutely recommend! I have never been able to have a pet sitter that I could trust until Kristin!
Kristen was wonderful w/ my 2 cats. You can tell how much she loves animals by how she interacts w/ them. I had her trim the nails of my cats and she had such patience, as they are hard to handle w/ people they don't know. She did a great job calming them and getting the job done. When I get ready to go on vacation she will be my first call. I will have no worries of how well they will be cared for.
I had such a great experience with Sandy Tails! Kristin was incredibly attentive and kept me updated on Stitch throughout the entire day, which gave me so much peace of mind. Since Stitch is an older dog, I really appreciated the extra care and attention she gave him. She made sure he was comfortable, took the time to administer his medication, and treated him like he was her own. It’s not easy leaving your fur baby in someone else’s care, but Kristin made the whole experience stress free. I highly recommend Sandy Tails to anyone looking for someone who is caring, reliable, and truly loves animals. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Stitch!
I recommend Kristin for anyone that needs their pets watched or walked. She walks my dogs everyday while I work so they don't have to wait till I am home. It gives me piece of mind knowing they getting out with someone who cares about them. She sends me photos every time.
