Dog Trainer, Veterinary Assistant
I am dog trainer at a local pet store and was a veterinary assistant at an emergency veterinarian for 8yrs. I offer drop in visits, walks, and at my home boarding. I am Pet CPR (R.E.C.O.V.E.R.) certified and Fear Fear level 2 certified. In home boarding dogs must be cat and dog friendly. I generally board 1 to 4 dogs at a time. For drop in visits, I discuss, at meet and greets, your pet's usual routine and do my best to keep everything the same for them. If requested I can prepare lickimats, kongs, snuffle mats or puzzle feeders. I am happy to play with your pet or just snuggle, it is their time. For staying in my home, they are treated like one of my own. They would get to play on my fantastic puppy playground. With owner permission they would be allowed on furniture and beds. However manners are still very much enforced and expected (I don't allow them to develop bad habits while you are away). Crate training is required, for safety, all pups are crated and seperate for feeding and if I need to leave to home. The majority of their stay will be playing outside, hanging out in the living room or cuddling in my bed.

Kristin really went above and beyond with our pets over the last 3 weeks. What a great job!
Yet again my dogs had a lovely weekend with Kristin while I was out of town. They are both currently passed out at home from all the fun they had and I had 0 worries about them being taken care of while I was handling my travel hiccups.
Kristin was so sweet to our dogs while we were gone. She gave them lots of love and cuddles, and we received pictures of our pups each day. Just by meeting Kristin and seeing her interact with our dogs, I can tell she has a special bond with animals. They loved her!! Thank you again!

Kristin has watched over my dogs at the house but this was the first time they were boarded with her. And they had a great time! They settled in and played with the other dogs well and she gave great updates while I was gone. She also took care of a bit of a skin allergy flare on my one dog before it got out of control. I felt very relaxed and confident my dogs were in good hands

Schedule
I currently create my own flexible work schedule and can take the extra time to spend caring for your pets. My own dog is very friendly and loves to play with our visitors.

A typical day
Both physical and mental enrichment are important. I can provide licki mats, snuffle mats, fill kongs etc. For outdoor activities, there are so much to explore in the large fenced yard.
