I am dog trainer at a local pet store and was a veterinary assistant at an emergency veterinarian for 8yrs. I offer drop in visits, walks, and at my home boarding. I am Pet CPR (R.E.C.O.V.E.R.) certified and Fear Fear level 2 certified. In home boarding dogs must be cat and dog friendly. I generally board 1 to 4 dogs at a time. For drop in visits, I discuss, at meet and greets, your pet's usual routine and do my best to keep everything the same for them. If requested I can prepare lickimats, kongs, snuffle mats or puzzle feeders. I am happy to play with your pet or just snuggle, it is their time. For staying in my home, they are treated like one of my own. They would get to play on my fantastic puppy playground. With owner permission they would be allowed on furniture and beds. However manners are still very much enforced and expected (I don't allow them to develop bad habits while you are away). Crate training is required, for safety, all pups are crated and seperate for feeding and if I need to leave to home. The majority of their stay will be playing outside, hanging out in the living room or cuddling in my bed.
