Please note that I work full time, 9-5 on weekdays, at a location based in the Loop. I have some flexibility to work off site and may be available to stay with your furry family during some weekdays. Please reach out so we can discuss you and your pets' schedules and needs.

I do all I can to make sure your pets continue to feel safe and at ease while you're away by maintaining their schedule, giving loving affection, play time, nap time. etc. Occasionally, a pet may become overly anxious when there is a new person in their home territory, and when I recognize this in the pet, with your permission, I'll make a point to step away for a few hours so they have the home to themselves. At this time, I am NOT able to offer pet sitting services at my home due to limited space and other restrictions at my building. (And my cats probably wouldn't be too keen!)

For new clients, please request dog sits as early as possible so we can arrange meet and greets at your home in advance of the service dates. This allows your dog(s) and/or cat(s) to meet me while they feel safe in your presence - a situation in which they are comfortable - and they will know it's OK for me to be in their home. No breed preferences. Please let me know if your pet has any medications or other health considerations, I would like to know so I can be prepared. I would also love to know about any unique quirks or personality traits your dog has so I can keep them happy and at ease with me. To help assure consistency, please let me know if any training or special commands are used.
A typical day
As mentioned, I make every effort to maintain a dog's regular schedule. I also love to work with them to reinforce known commands, and with your permission, teach them new ones. Walks can be for as often and as long as they prefer. For especially energetic dogs (without physical ailments), they may receive a few extra walks - most dogs live for walks and I'm happy to oblige!

I believe pets are family and as your sitter, I will make sure your loved ones will get the attention and care they deserve. I grew up with dogs and cats as an only child with parents who worked 50+ hours/week, so for several years I was a primary dog walker and caretaker in the family for multiple pets. I understand how important it is to maintain a dog's schedule and to reinforce good behavior, and I will assure your dog is healthy, happy, and engaged while you're away. Cats, of course, receive love and attention, but their personal space will also be respected. You will receive as many updates and photos as you like so you know your family is well taken care of!
