Your dog will love my 5 acres of open land, plus a fenced yard and secure playpen for safe play. I also have three gentle, dog-friendly horses who keep the atmosphere calm and welcoming. I do have three cats, but they are barn cats and when they see a new dog, they are very, very good at hiding out. I live on a street that is tucked away from the busy road . Inside my house it is very pet friendly and I do have a nice kennel that dogs are able to go in if they need that.

Before your pup arrives, I want to know everything that will help me give them the best care possible. Does your dog have special needs, take medication, or require injections such as insulin? Do they have dietary restrictions, special sleeping arrangements, or activity limitations? Are there concerns about how they interact with other animals? I’m attentive and sensitive to what makes your dog happiest and most comfortable, and I’ll tailor their care so they feel right at home.
A typical day
From the moment your pup wakes up, the fun begins! We’ll start with zoomies and sniffing adventures on my 5-acre farm, then take a relaxing on-leash walk around the neighborhood. Sunny days mean splash time in the doggie pool and endless games of fetch to burn off that happy energy. After all the excitement, it’s time to flop onto a comfy doggie bed for a well-earned snooze. Later, there’s plenty of snuggle time with my family and belly rubs.

Pet care experience
Animals have always been a central part of my life — from growing up around horses and barn cats to caring for beloved family dogs. I have over 30 years of equine experience and have worked in a veterinary clinic as a vet assistant, which means I’m confident providing basic first aid, administering medications, and making sure your dog is safe, healthy, and happy. I have experience working as a vet tech and also worked as zookeeper at the NEW Zoo for a while. Today, I share my home with Luna, our fun-loving dog, and carry with me the experience of caring for our cherished golden doodle for 14 wonderful years. I live on a peaceful horse property with 5 acres of land (there is a safe fenced-in area for dogs away from the horses) where your dog will have plenty of space to run, sniff, and explore — or simply relax in the fresh country air. My goal is to make every dog feel like they’re part of the family, because to me, they truly are.

Great sitter!
Kristin was great, we felt so comfortable leaving our elderly dog with her while we went out of town. We did a meet and greet before our actual booking and she was so communicative and responsive. You can tell she has a lot of experience with animals and really love animals, which was very reassuring. I am so glad we left our girl with her. I didn’t worry at all while away.
Kristin was a really great! Quick to respond, great communication, and the meet and greet was very helpful. She took great care of Barley for day care and he seemed very happy when we picked him up. We would absolutely return to Kristin if we need coverage when we're in town!
